I think the community as a whole have come to the consensus that Jiraiyah simply was a great character as a whole. He was skilled without being OP. He was a likable guy, and was probably one of the few in the VS with actual character ( being a perv)

Even Kishi didn't want to ruin his character by bringing him back as an Edo :sdo:

I agree with this, I may not hear about him in the forum too much but I sure as hell have barely(if ever) seen people throw shade at him
