Send that same student to a college worse at math and hell go back to being at the top, but because schools like MIT and Harvard believe in diversity for diversity's sake, they produce failure of otherwise fairly bright students.



Not to mention it's usually the black kid of the black doctor, who grew up with the white kid of the white doctor that get into these schools, so It isn't really diversity, you're getting people from the same neighborhood

You touched on the real matter without even realizing it when you said DOCTOR. The issue is truly economical over racial, those people don't want anyone going there that isn't in their socioeconomic range regardless of race. But you go ahead and keep on worrying about the guy next to you's looks. That's the important stuff.

In fact the best retention rates are among asians at MIT according to their provost so why don't we just get rid of all of the diversity and leave it to the asians?

Native Americans and Latino's also have similar retention rates to African Americans which is slightly higher on average and lower for other groups, so should we not give them a shot?

I mean all of those Native Americans are coming from the same economic conditions as the whites and everyone else from the 1%, right?

I'm curious what you imagine the endgame of your loose criticism would be?

Yes, economics has to deal with preparedness and expectations, the largest economic group to drop from MIT are people who received PELL grants and they could have left for either academic or economic reasons.

And what about those six to eight percent of whites who fail, should we not give them an opportunity to succeed or fail?

This argument has been in play for decades but the long and short of it is that a vast majority of programs are improved by having a diverse range of student, if programs are willy nilly admitting people who have no chance of succeeding then yes those programs are harming people, but that shows no reason not to have goals to expand or have diversity, it just shows that institutions shouldn't exploit individuals based on race.

Based on absolutely no factual evidence whatsoever. Literally find me one spec of evidence that proves diversity improves a student body.

How about we only let in students who are truly qualified?
