Wrote this today, for my sister's homework xd Originally written in Spanish,I hope it's clear enough.

The intruder
It has been colder than usual lately. Due this annoying weather, I've prefered to stay at home, driking hot tea and watching tv. Who would knew? Not only this winter will be cold(last year's felt more like summer) but it has came early. This november is a bit shady. These days look quite gray. Gray days provoke me somnolency.
Such condition was aggravated by the electrical company...I know, I know: lampposts and electric cables need to be maintained, but was it necessary to cut the power of the entire block? Given the television it's not very entertaining when is off, I lied on the bed to rest a little.
Then I remembered that mom was out, visiting our grandmother, and that I was alone in the apartment. I was in the risk of falling asleep with the door and windows opened; which is completely not recommended due the neighbors one has been disgraced to meet.
I had already closed the door when I heard a slight murmur from my sister's bedroom. It was whining and panting, throaty and annoying. The conclusion was simple: an intruder snaked into the room.
I grabbed a vase mechanically, without minding that it was heavy and made of glass. I walked quietly, not thinking in anything but being careful to not be caught. After five or six strides, I reched the bedroom's door. I opened it slowly, so it didn't creak. The whining was still there...I just threw the vase once I got the chance. I didn't hesitate. It was a very clean hit as expected: I recognized a silhouette whitin the penumbra.
The vase's crash was marvelous. Its water flooded the room completely, wetting my trainers entirely. The shattered glasses bounced at unimaginable heights, breaking into smaller pieces each time they had contact with the floor.
What about the intruder? It was lying on the soil, with some glasses embedded in its skin, bleeding a bit; but I knew it was injured just superficially.
Rapidly, ecstatic, I ran to the living room and grabbed a chair. I threw it too. I must confess it was quite funny. I repeated that sequence several times. It was a tiresome exercise.
When I got tired, I contemplated the scene. That silhouette seemed vaguely familiar. However, the most alarming thing was the fact its breathing was calm...it was talking unintelligible words...How could it be still conscious? I turned abruptly to keep throwing random objects, but a hand grasped me tightly by the shoulder. I turned my head to give it a butting...
We stayed face to face, very close. It was my sister.
-Why did ya fall asleep without closing the windows?-she asked me, with a mocking smile- I've been calling you from my bedroom, I needed ya to close them...it was getting cold inside! But ya see, I have this cold and sore throat...and ya were laughing scandalously...I thought you were reading. What were ya dreaming that it was so funny?
