I haven't posted anything in a while. But this is just my thought on what could have possibly happened. We saw that Naruto realized that big techniques don't work on Kaguya. Only the sexy jutsu and distractions. My hunch is that he forced her to teleport into the other dimension and purposely sent a clone. Therefore, once she believed she'd had killed him, she would tele back to the ice world, leaving Obito and Sakura in the other dimension unnoticed. Kaguya having to switch dimensions back to the ice world because she figured she killed the real Naruto just cost her even more chakra than she planned on using. So she'll think twice about returning to find Sakura and Obito. Meanwhile Naruto may keep her occupied in the ice world for as long as possible until Sakura and Obito finish the task and whatever kakashi is doing. **kanye shrug** Did I miss something?
