- He can't even do it at all because his Sharingan is deactivated in Ten-Tails mode (remember, he can't phase dimensions!) Only the Sage of Six Paths could possibly pull it off.
- He gets killed right as he's initiating it - at some climactic moment like - the moon's red, and everything starts phasing out - and somebody delivers the final blow, or the Juubi breaks out, or whatever ends up killing Obito.
- The Infinite Tsukuyomi is inherently flawed as a jutsu - it's a genjutsu, so it wouldn't last as a "new world" or anything - it has a time limit, and Obito won't be able to keep it going for long. He dies either having failed to realize his dream, or more interestingly:
