the Illusion or the Reality: Which do you prefer? (SPOILERS) (DUH)

The recent fillers on Tsunade's dreams have gotten interesting. Everything that happened in part and 2 of Naruto is taking place, but not the same way. Naruto had control over Kurama and Natural Energy much earlier than in Reality, and Sasuke actually stays to grow up in Konoha and become a Police Captain or something. He eventually does leave the Village, seeking power from Orochimaru and Naruto promises Sakura he'll bring Sasuke back. So though things are a little different, everything is still playing out the same.

I like to think that the Illusion version is a lot more organized, subtle, and clean than the Reality. Naruto and Sasuke don't fight to the death at VOTE in their released forms, Itachi never slaughtered the Uchiha clan, Shisui is still alive and was never attacked by Danzo. Even Minato and Hiruzen are still alive and well, as well as Kushina and assumably Iruka's parents.

Something inside of me found the filler interesting, and though some details are left out, I'm starting to slightly favor it over the actual canon fillers of Naruto and Sasuke fighting at VOTE and Sasuke joining Orochimaru earlier and hunting down Itachi (which isn't even his life objective in the Illusion, it's to surpass Naruto).

These fillers actually aren't bad. The fillers I hate are the ones that are constantly spammed like the Kakashi, Obito and Rin story, the Rock Lee and Gai story ext, shit we've already seen. But Fillers like this Illusion one and the Chuunin Exam one are the ones that I really like.

So tell me what you guys like most, what do you prefer?

The Illusion story created by Jiraiya, or the Reality story created by Kishimoto?

It depends. I can't say for sure what I prefer here. While I'm a huge fan of AU genre in general, every AU setting usually has both its flaws and advantages. I like some of the moments in these fillers more than their alternative in canon, but I wouldn't say that it's better than canon in general and vice versa.

I think there are some parts that I liked about the AU because it was something that should have been present in the canon but wasn't.

Yeah. I also like the 'what if' part of it. It's always interesting to see how it could've been should some things go differently

I may watch these fillers then. Believe sasukes character would be more stable and his revolution would seem more reasonable if sasuke left the village due to disliking the government instead of killing itachi. Manga may not have been so uchiha focused if the massacre didn't happen also.

Most likely the host before Naruto wasn't Kushina, as it's apparent by the fact that she is still alive. After the previous host died, to prevent rampage and casualties, Minato sealed it within his son. Of course, Kushina insisted that he seal it in her instead. But Minato believed that Kurama would be key to Naruto's power in the future (because of the whole prophecy thing).

Well this thread is focused mainly on everyone's opinion on the fillers, so it technically does have some relevance here.
