The Ice King is normally disagreeable, and short-tempered, but is more of a nuisance than an enemy and isn't usually a serious threat. A genuinely tragic, lonely, and sympathetic person, Ice King spends most of his time kidnapping and imprisoning the various Kage's and Daimyo's daughters, in hopes of someday marrying one. Due to his poor social skills, enduring short attention span and arrogant nature, Ice King is unable to woo any of his prisoners and often resorts to a forced marriage instead of the loving relationship he craves. With no companions or friends aside from the penguins in his ice fortress, his villagers, and ice monsters of his own creation, the Ice King expresses a continual zeal to spend time with anyone who will tolerate his company. Ice King is often misunderstood as being evil, when he is actually quite benign. Despite doing mostly bad things like kidnapping princesses, and stealing, it can be said that his behavior is because he is lonely, and desperate for companionship and attention. It is said he wishes for an army of wives to take over the world

Looks
The Ice King is a short, elderly man whose skin has turned blue due to the frostbite suffered from the climate of his Ice Fortress in which he lives. In order to make everything else match his face and perhaps scare the guards of the many women he attempts to kidnap, he also painted the rest of his body an icy light blue color, with a special paint that makes it permanetly that color. He is known to have unusually pointy fingers, pointy toes, sharp teeth like those of the 7 swordsman, and a goblin-like nose that he had grafted onto his face to increase his fearsome appearance. He wears a dark blue tunic and has a large white beard that covers most of his body. Though the robe gives him the appearance of a larger man, Ice King's body is in fact exceptionally thin. He is almost never seen without his crown which he claims is the source of all his ice powers but this thinking is just a side affect from his mental insanity from spending such a long time in an arctic terrain. He is also revealed to have a short length of white hair atop his head and is never seen with shoes.

But in order to carry all of the cool things that ninja carry the Ice King simply puts all of his kunai, shuriken, swords, harmonicas, pieces of paper, pens, instruments, and whatever else he needs in his thick long and luxurious beard.

Background Info
History: Simon Petrikov was a good hearted scholar of Kirigakure who was interested in literature, archaeology, and spending time with his wife, Betty. One day while continuing his love for archaeology he was tasked to find a legendary book lost in the halls of time known as The Enchiridion, the ninja handbook that the was rumored to be written by the Sage of Six Paths himself. After years and years of searching he finally found it and brought it back to Kirigakure. When he told the people of his findings he was laughed at and thought of as a joke.
While Simon was digging for the book, he contracted a rare disease that slowly drove him insane, and turned his hair eyes white, however this was not fatal and slowly worked its way through him. Meanwhile the criticism did not deter Simon, he studied the book and learned all the ways of the ninja by reading it day in and day out. He also learned of his lineage of Yuki from studying some of the family trees mapped out within the book and matching this up to his own family tree that he had within his home. In his moments of temporary insanity he would put on a golden crown with red jewels, believing that it was the source of his newfound ice powers, after he took it off he coincedentally snapped out of his insanity and his beloved wife had a look of sheer contempt on her face. After that day he never saw her again. However he didnt have much time to try to chase her because around the time he found out, war broke out. As the war sirens within Kirigakure rang out Simon ran out his house in a semi lucid state on a high ledge and saw many incoming attacks coming to Kiri

Calling upon his crown for confidence he awakened his newfound powers yet again and froze one of the attacks coming into Kiri at the cost of getting crushed under one of the large attacks

With the last of his might he willed himself away from the giant glacier and rolled out of the way. He later woke up in a hospital bed, with the rest of his anity gone. He had a new persona, he was a new person, he was the Ice King.

When Ice King awoke next he was in a hospital bed and had completely lost his old personality. He was in a place of forests and wonder in a hospital room with a nurse that would make a great princess for him. However at the risk of getting smacked again he would refrain from touching her....until he was at full strength at which time he would try to touch her relentlessly. They had said some unknown ninja saved him from the wreckage of the attack and they had nursed him back to health. Greatful for their help he decided to stay in his new village, not like he remembered anything of Kirigakure in the first place. When he got out of the hospital he was the very bane of Hawke's, a gruff Inuzuka in Konoha, existence by constantly trying to kidnap his daughter Laura, citing that she was princess material, whatever that meant and always getting his butt kicked by the mean old man. He even went as far as transforming into a horse in order to avoid detection but his Ice King smell gave him away.

After a now seemingly routine thrashing by the Inuzuka, the Ice King went back home to his self made Ice Fortress which he refuses to leave saying that the Ice King should have a proper palace. All in all the Ice King attempts many villanous things but isnt a threat most of the time and just wants to be accepted. He's made friends with many villagers and even Hawke finds him tolerable. He now looks to continue his adventures for more princesses and females in Konoha and the entire ninja world
