Yes but that could easily be done away with by keeping the secret of the MS out of the ears of the clan. The Hyuga however kept passing on the knowledge of the seal, and used it to torture each other. Uchiha's killing one another for power wasn't in the law of the clan.

The seal is more used for the fact of keeping the Byakugan out of enemy hands because unlike the Sharingan if a hyuga dies you can just take the eye and walk away unlike the Sharingan you have to take it when active.

That's nice and all, but they used the excuse of "keeping secrets" in order to mind-control and torture one another, making one half of the clan's lives that of servitude.

All of Kaguya's descendants have Celestial Blood, but if anything, the blood of the Uchiha seems to create stronger shinobi than the Hyuga, so Momoshiki's sense of superiority is really unfounded.

Uchiha can defeat a Bijuu by simply looking into their eyes.I think Hiashi would lose to any Bijuu in a real fight. Idk this is just what I believe.

The Cloud, Toneri, and Ao Vs Danzo and Orochimaru (only for the copying abilities). The Byakugan was outright said to be desired by many people, not the same for Sharingan.

Ao is the only person to successfully steal the Byakugan. We know for a fact that the Sharingan is far more valuable, why the Byakugan was sought after more might be due to the fact that people might not have known as much about the Sharingan as we might have thought they did.

Had people known EVERYTHING about the Sharingan, the kidnapping attempts would be innumerable.

Orochimaru wanted sharingan only bc to unlock rinnegan + with Sharingan it is easy to learn new Jutsus... that time he probably had no idea about Otsutsuki and Tenseigan.... and Danzo got Sharingan only bc of Orochimaru, he just did another exeperiment on him(Hashi cell+sharinagns) and it failed btw... that fodder could not handle Hashi DNA.

Well I always saw it as we see hyuga being more protective cause... well... they're still around to do so and the uchiha aren't lol but even then we never really see uchiha in past times going to extremes to protect eyes so there's that. Although throughout the series more people have wanted sharingan then byakugan.
