Thorin's declaration of war obviously falling to the greed that plagues his race was quite sad. Galadriel's gentle kiss on a wounded Gandalf was like "Sorry my friend, you've earned your rest but we need you still."

Why in THE HELL is Gandalf half dead on the ground getting kissed by Galadriel? It's his fight with Sauron and his fight with the WK and broken staff all over again

I was extremely disappointed with the first two movies as some may remember and this trailer hasn't got me hyped one bit, well at least Smaug wasn't in the war in the trailer, but the trailer looks like a sum up of Helm's Deep with flashier CG which makes it look a lot more fake and ladida happy
