The high power scale was inevitable from the 1st chapter of the manga

The incredible power that we're seeing was planned from the very beginning of Naruto. Yes, there were hints in part 1 that things were going to get crazy when he got older. There's a lot of "OP" things in part 1 that people overlook when they say that part 1 was the best due to "more tactics". Did you honestly think that the scale of combat wasn't going to increase after seeing these?

Kurama ,right from the start, was portrayed as OP. Since the 4th beat him, we knew that he'd be OP as well.

These "OP" battles didn't start in part 2. They started in the konoha destruction arc of part 1.

That was OP for ninja and tactics wouldn't you say?

Don't tell me that strategy in these fights were more involved than part 2.

Part 2 is maintaining strategy due to kamui at the moment.

Like it or not, Naruto was destined to have OP fights from the very beginning. The "greater amount of strategy in part 1" is almost non existent. There's been an equal amount of strategy in part 2. The only difference is that everyone's more powerful.

There is a lot more strategy behind Part 2 than that. Things such as the Flying Thunder God Technique and the Shadow Clone Technique.

But yes, it's true. The first sentence already starts to mention a Mountain-Busting creature.

I love how people actually complain about it and then call it a DBZ ripoff

but if it stayed the same with an annoyingly young Naruto, people would complain about that instead.

The story/characters/jutsu/battles are all better in shippuden......why do people insist that part 1 was more relevant with real-life shinobi when the main character was a loud, incompetent kid wearing an orange jumpsuit.

And yet this surprises people and they rage once they see it in action.:|

Thanks for pointing out that there's more strategy, but I was referring to the most recent example. People who say that there's been no strategy in the 4th shinobi war arc should reread every fight in it.

It's probably because they're looking for something to whine about. Hate people like that!

People just complain about that because in Part K11 was useful but now in Part 2 they're fodder.Trust me people only liked Part 1 cause everyone had a chance to fight, but in Part 2 instead of looking at the fights we have they continue to say where's Lee,Neji,Shikamru ect ect.Complainers never go away, look even i'm complaining.

my main issue with the power levels is that they're inconsistent. for example, deidara in part 2 was shown to be way stronger than anyone in part one, and that's without c3 and c4. then there's the whole ms thing, in part 1 itachi was tapped after using 1 tech, in part 2 sasuke is using around 10 vs the kage and danzou and itachi a handful too despite his shit stamina. susanoo- a chakra manifestation which makes no sense- naruto made 2000 clones with a smaller ball of chakra.

imo, kishi could have avoided all his problems if he hadn't retconned hiruzen. the fight vs oro and the edo hokage in part 1 should have been much more fleshed out and godly, as now every single one of the akatsuki> pt1 hiruzen, hashirama, tobirama, and orochimaru. the line between jounin, s-rank criminals and kage has gotten very blurred, imo only a very select few like hanzou, pain, obito should have been portrayed to be stronger than a hokage. and of course naruto and sasuke in time. an s-rank criminal should be significantly stronger than a jounin, perhaps close to or around sannin level but not kage level. the kage is the strongest shinobi in a village, don't tell me the strongest ones all left for akatsuki that's stupid. kishi did a great job of including jutsu variety, but a poor one with scale and power imo.

When Naruto went 4tails mode against Orochimaru THAT should have been an indicator right there that we were going to get here.

I think Kishimoto was very fair in telling us we were going to have elevated power scales.

Susanoo is indeed stupid as well. I always hated the EMS. It was Kishi's way of backpedaling the MS cons. He even gave it a chakra megazord for crying out loud.

Part 2 is filled with so many retcons.

He should have made EMS simply remove the eyesight cons, but kept the stamina cons. That would have kept things reasonably even. Then again, how would Sasuke compete with a jinchuriki if they didn't make EMS as hax as it is?

I agree. Unfortunately most readers are kids with ADD, so they won't be able to comprehend this.
