Very interesting! Hopefully we'll find out more about this new boson soon, it'd sure change our approach to physics and our understanding of how the universe works. 
I don't really like how the media keeps referring to it as the 'god particle' though, I've actually met people who believe that this particle somehow proves the existence of a god...which is clearly nonsense.

This is an extremely amazing discovery o_o (if it's true) although as said earlier, people are going to have the ability to manipulate mass, nothing good can come from that. Imagine what would happen if you gave more to or took away a certain sub-atomic particles mass. I'm sensing a lot of disasters happening in the near future, hopefully nothing too deadly that will engulf our world in fear :|. I'm quite the pessimist xD..
