The book is not that good.
I was majorly disappointed, some things just happened without the right amount of explaining and it was hard to imagine how the fighting scenes would play out. It would have been much better in first person rather than third.
Riodran used a horrible name... I mean Frank ? You give the dude a lame name and overall he thinks he's lame?
It was SUPER predictable. I got so annoyed about how I could practically tell the story just by reading the last chapter...
Overall I'd give it a 7/10 just because I like Percy...

Of course, Percy Jackson's chapters were the best parts of the book. The main reason I read it lol. Now I gotta update my Percy Jackson bio now...

I'm actually quite interested in the next book to see what's going to happen when they meet and hear about those 8 months that passed when the Greek Camp made the ship. One thing that keeps coming in my head the old saying: "Beware of Greeks bearing gifts." xd
I just wonder what's going to happen with the whole cross-over relationship between (I totally forgot the names already) The roman Legion leader and the Roman dude in camp half blood and his Aphrodite gf xd

I can't remember her name but you mean Jason and Piper at the end xd. That's actually going to be a pretty interesting side-plot. And even weirder, what if Leo is Hazel's old boyfriend she kept seeing in her Flash-backs, you know Sammy. Like Sammy tried for Elsyum (spelling ><') and was re-incarnated through the lines as Sammy. But that's an incredibly long-shot.
Oh, and speaking of Leo, I wonder how he and Frank will be able to survive one another. You know, the fire-might-end-up-killing-Frank-one-day thing and Leo-and-his-fire-controlling-fire thing? Lol, this is going to make for some interesting sub-plots. I can smell a future FF of mine brewing up right now. O_O
Yea, I've been thinking about that I totally forgot! Wasn't Leo's grandfather the guy who Hazel was in love with?

Something like that. I think that's what makes me think that lmao. The series can be great but in the end, we'll be like...I kinda saw that coming xd
Lol, I'm thinking of making a Camp Half-blood fanfic, maybe do a Heroes of Olympus one as well but for now, I'm using Percy, Annabeth, Grover, Nico, and some new custom characters. Every 4-5 chapters will be like a mini quest with prophecies and all.

Pfft, I already have a way around that: First, I initially just do a summary of the quest without the prophecy, just the overview of everything that's going to be done and who they'll run into, possible challenges, enemies, locations, etc. Then using that stuff, I take pieces from it that if heard will confuse the reader at the beginning (like if they were to somehow revisit the Labyrinth and save Erebos, who is the Goddess of the Darkness, and Chronus (Not Cronus, Zeus's dad), the Keeper of Time, from a terrible fate, all while trying to keep from killing one another and figuring out which god or goddess of the Olympians have betrayed the others, I'd say something vague like:Biggest problem would probably be the fact it's going to be pretty hard to do a prophecy, quest, and all that in one (FF) chapter

It's kinda weak but still vague but you get the point, of course. xd They'll be vaguer and longer and the story lines will be more interesting and new creatures not visited yet will be heard from and etc. I'm still debating whether or not this will be from Percy's point of view or from 1st person. >_< I'll take my time making it like Roku does.
