You may have already guessed who it is before reading the thread, but lemme tell you that you are grossly incorrect. The greatest Naruto character is this guy:
1) Just imagine the world without food? It will lead to highly increased mortality rate. This guy is capable of wiping out the entire Konoha villagers by just closing his shop and deciding not to sell ramen. Even Naruto, the main character, would die or starvation as he eats no other food.
2) You may say we haven't seen enough feats from him but during the part 1 of the series, he was able to knock out Kakashi of the Sharingan with a boxing glove. If Kakashi of all people couldn't spot the surprise attack, that means he is able to K.O. most of the ninjas weaker than Kakashi which is basically almost all of Konoha and some ninjas from other villages. He can also K.O. those without sharingans (Jiraiya, Minato etc); if sharingan couldn't dodge his attack, nobody can.
3) He is more than a match for any arsenal of jutsus. Pain used his most powerful version of Shinra Tensei, yet Teuchi (ramen guy) wasn't killed by a jutsu tht destroyed the entire village.
4) he can defeat tough guys such as Itachi too. As we all know, Itachi is not in good health, so he needs adequate FOOD (go back to number 1)
5) look closely at the picture...look at his eyes...this, I don't need to explain, right?
