Well, the beatles were the starting point and inspiration to many bands,you could say there were the best and still are since i doubt there is someone that does not know a song or at least their name.Their live shows weren?t incredible though, you may think because of the time and tech but we have the example of many like The Rolling Stones or Pink Floyd, i think floyd not only managed to beat everyone (referring to live shows and presentations), they were even vote the best band in live 8 after a 20 year break-up, they came toghether to sing , wich ringo and paul didn?t.

Well, my all-time favorite band is Coldplay, so I'd have to say them lol. :|

I don't listen to much older music so don't get pissed saying that they're just copying off of so-and-so, cause I don't know and therefore don't care. xd

I couldn't really say, I mean there's Stereoephonics, The Killers, Coldplay, Kings Of Leon, Kaiser Cheifs, Linkin Park, Foo Fighters. These are really my bands of all time tbh.

Depends on what greatest means. Biggest Impact Best Music Biggest Sales? Biggest impact on music is either Elvis or the Beatles. Best music comes from what genre you listen to though. Biggest sales varies from the world but all time sales im sure is the beatles

yeah, its deffinetly a mater of taste, although I cant say that some of the bands cant be denied as the best because of their one of a king music, like the Beatles who started the rock era, and the Pink Floyd who started something more instrumental and psych...

but when it comes to favorites from the newest bands I'd say its the Strokes, Kings of Leon, The Kaiser Chiefs, The Killers...theres a lot of 'em.
