SPOILER ALERT!!! If you have not read the latest Chapter 599, do not look down!!!!
Hey everyone, this is my total analysis of the whole Tobi/Obito situation. Its a lot to read, but if you're interested in the big picture on Tobi being Obito, then please bear with me. As you will find some interesting points, and I'm sure it may be something that's even gone through your mind before.
(note: I would've put in pictures or links, but I find my thread to be already very long, and I just didn't want to make it any longer. Lol)
Please read it all though.
First of all.. "Did this Chapter Really Confirm Tobi being Obito...?"
Well, yeah, it basically did.
Even though I'm still a little skeptical of course, (who isn't?) I'm like 97% sure that Kishi was informing us, that Tobi is in fact Obito.
I didn't want to believe it myself, but it is what it is.
Why else would Kishi spend a whole chapter giving us the silent flashbacks of Obito Uchiha? Let alone name the chapter Obito Uchiha?
At this point I'd like to elaborate on a few things to the best of my knowledge. I'll be answering some things I saw on another thread (which I quoted up above) and I'm also going to point out a few of my own, and maybe some questions you other members have had?..
For the Reply to that other thread I mentioned..
1. Knowledge of Madara. - that's quite simple actually. It can be highly possible that at some point shortly after the boulder incident, Obito was found by Madara, or found Madara, and became a pupil. Therefore learning A LOT of valuable information.
2. Why he was upset about Izuna dying. - I'm not so sure if he was actually upset about Izuna's death.. I believe you're referring to the conversation about Madara and Izuna's eyes. Well I'm guessing that Tobi/Obito got so offensive while talking about Izuna giving his eyes to Madara, because he did the same thing.. sort of.. by willingly giving his left sharingan to Kakashi. (You would get passionate too if you were having a convo about "taking eyes" rumors. And "giving eyes" rumors. If you, yourself indeed gave someone your eye before xd lol)
4. How he met Nagato. - I honestly have no clue at all about that one. Just gonna have to wait patiently for Kishi's explanation.
5. The OP didn't make sense to me so idk what to say. Lol xd sorry!
And yes.. I agree.. All 'Tobi is Obito' supporters deserve the biggest apologies and I give you my utmost respect!
Some of my own thoughts..... Kishi really is telling us that Tobi is Obito because of the right side of his face and body(marks on his right arm). Those weren't wrinkles we saw under his eye when he fought Konan. Those were these lines we're seeing now. I'm guessing a scar left from the boulder that landed on him. (He kinda looks half normal and half Freddy Krugar huh? xd hahahaa)
The Flashback is showing us why Obito would become the way he is now. If you think deep enough.. It actually makes sense and Kishi is indeed somewhat of a Literary Genius.
You see.. Obito grew up just like Naruto did. (Even though he was a "gifted Uchiha" I guess it turns out not all Uchiha are showers, some are growers. xd lmao).. You see, the similarities between Naruto/Obito are very close to identical. Hair/goggles is just the physical attributes. But let's go deeper.. They both wanted to be Hokage. They both had a skilled teammate who would always outshine them and do better than them. Kakashi/Sasuke. They had a crush on their other teammate Rin/Sakura. Who in turn didn't like them, but liked Kakashi/Sasuke instead.. They were always beaten by others. They were always left out.
Now.. the difference between them? Obito turned out to be the Villain. The Bad guy. (Who's intentions may be good, depending on how you look at it) while Naruto on the other hand, became the Hero. The Good guy. And now they're both pinned up against each other in the fight of a lifetime! :scorps:
Kishi always makes things go full circle. And he actually did a great job with this, Imo.. (As long as he has an amazing explanation to go with it I'll be good)
All that's left now is for Kishi to explain to us all, how the f*ck Obito/Tobi accomplished a few things during his lifetime. Like the whole Nagato/Rinnegan thing. The attack of the Ninetails on Konoha 16 years ago. The Uchiha clan massacre (along side Itachi) and most importantly, surviving the great attack of the falling boulder! xd LOL!!! ............... Well as many of you are thinking.. Maybe there are two Tobi's.. The short haired one being Obito. And the long haired one being Madara. Or maybe even Izuna! lol we'll all know soon enough.
I know this was a giant wall of text, and I apologize for writing so much, but as you can see I had a lot to say. lol
