Looks: Jecht is a muscular and tanned older man with long unruly black hair and red eyes. His only clothing is a pair of black shorts with an orange and red sash covering his right leg and a red headband. Due to his vanity he refuses to wear a shirt, showing off his body and the large Konoha Flames tattoo emblazoned on his chest. His left arms is covered by metallic armor extending from his shoulder down to and covering his hand. He is often seen carrying a large and uniquely shaped black broadsword with a red-orange symbol painted down the middle and three holes near the top of the weapon.
Personality: On the surface, Jecht is a surly and arrogant man and a bully. He frequently refers to himself as "The Great Jecht" or Jecht-sama, giving himself a respectful honorific, and to those in Konoha he is known as "Sir Jecht" due to being a famous guardian. Jecht considers himself the best blitzball player there is and loves fame and glamour. Jecht's career hit a slump when he began drinking after the Uchiha Massacre, and it was rumored he was going to retire, though he was quick to deny this and claim he could quit drinking if he chose. Jecht used to be verbally abusive to his son Tidus, giving him the nickname "crybaby", and otherwise brushing him off or berating him.
Despite his numerous flaws, Jecht is a good man at heart. He criticized Tidus frequently, but does so in the hope of encouraging Tidus to try harder and disprove him. Jecht does love Tidus, but has trouble expressing it; one sentimental letter to Tidus cut off with Jecht writing, "Remember, you're my son. And... well, uh... never mind. I'm no good at these things". Beyond Tidus, Jecht is generally good-natured. He enjoys the a song called the "Hymn of the Fayth," and is well-loved by his fans, to the extent of a blitzball tournament in Kirigakure being named in his honor. He often tries to intervene in dangerous situations when its the right thing to do; something that often gets him in trouble.

Background Info
History: Jecht was always viewed as an Uchiha who carried a great deal of potential, but also as someone who lacked the seriousness and work ethic to develop his natural talents. Growing up he would rather play games than go to training sessions and thus fell behind others in terms of combat. The game he most enjoyed playing was a game called "Blitzball" where two teams would compete against each other in a sphere of water by trying to get a ball into a goal. Jecht found himself spending most of his time playing and practicing in this sport, and quickly became one of the most talented players in the ninja world. He found himself touring the villages as a member of the Konoha Flames and rose to the top of the inter-village league. In one such trip to Amegakure, he befriended a female Kunoichi named Akiza of the Black Rose, a fellow Uchiha, who taught him Amegakure's secret Rain Style. The only person who could consider themselves a true rival of his was a man from Kirigakure named Kisame, who was abnormal in his fish-like appearance and abilities. The fame became an addiction for Jecht and earned him the respect of many of his clan-mates.

His prosperous career came to an abrupt end after the tragedy which was the Uchiha Massacre. Jecht was lucky enough to be at an away game on that fateful day, and had his son Tidus with him. But upon returning to the village he was stricken with grief to find both his friends and wife slain by the hands of Uchiha Itachi. Jecht turned to alcohol and his career began to suffer. It wasn't long before his former rival Kisame overtook him as the world's number one player, and from there he spiraled downwards. About a year after the massacre he retired from Blitzball and spent most of his days in solitude. In his darkest times an old friend, Auron, lent a hand and dragged him from his abyss. He helped him channel his despair into training and convinced him that rather than becoming another victim of this world's pain, he should overcome it and destroy it. Jecht began to develop a new fame in the world for being a strong ninja and he became a prominent figure within Konoha.
Other
Elemental Affinities: Jecht was born with the affinity for wind, a rarity amongst Uchiha. Over the years he's worked hard to refine his use in this element and has mastered it to such a degree that he can use some of the most complex techniques with a single hand seal. Like other Uchiha, he also has a great deal of skill in the fire element. Though its not at the level of his wind usage, he can still perform fire techniques faster than the average shinobi.
Sharingan: While he has become skilled in the usage of his sharingan, Jecht as slacked off and thus been unable to fully master it. His sharingan currently only has two tomoe and he hopes to unlock the third in the near future.
Weaponry: Jecht's signature weapon is his large broadsword which is carried on his back. He also carries the typical ninja tools in pouches along his waist includeing sealing tags, kuani, shuriken, explosive tags, smoke bombs, etc. He also wears wrapping on his wrists that have the seal for lightning blade creation on the underside similar to Sasuke.
Giant Tortoise Style: This school of kenjutsu was taught to Jecht by a nameless samurai from the land of iron. Of the five forms, Jecht mastered the Kagutsuchi Kata and Oboro Kata, granting above average strength and reaction times.
