canon dbz ended after buu saga and now has been expanded with new plot, storyline about new multiverse and gods in there. which makes the series interesting to opposing what AF did where you had basicly a new villian show up to destroy the earth and new super saiyan forms loke sssj5,ssj6,ssj7 etc i mean how much would their hair and muscles grow if they actually existed?
ssj god seems more like an original idea to implement. and give goku a complete different powered ki source.
instead of jumping off higher ssj numbers.

And yet ssj god sucked in that movie. The real star of that show is Vegeta.

Dude, come on, you have no idea of knowing that. OP will probably still be running in 15 years and I have doubts about Bleach just cause I'm not all impressed with it, but Naruto achieved too much popularity during its run to just disappear like that. People bring up films from the 50s and beyond all the time, people will remember anime the same way, especially one that popular.

And the manga is ending, bro. The anime still has another year or so, maybe more considering how many fillers they've given Shippuden thus far.

DBZ being a raw fighting manga is exactly why it lacks as a series. Goku doesn't have the depth or development Luffy has, so he isn't as a great a character.

Naruto has surpassed DBZ in every way. I believe One Piece has to from what I have herd about it. Bleach and Fairy Tail both have better action than DBZ. DBZ is just a out dated series. dbz will still be more worldwide popular that one piece could ever be! why? because it came out first, and the crowd is still growing. and future generations are still watching dbz, while one piece well its okay so far. its only a hit in japan. its other countries dont care much about it. especially how english dub sucks.

why DBZ is the most popular anime in the world? because the WEST F*CKING LOVES IT, and there are even hardcore dedicated you tube channels for it

DBZ is the most overrated western anime to ever grace the land of western world. and its still very popular, the fanbase is still going strong. Naruto's storyline is very repetitive, boring and dragged out for at least six episodes. Most episodes are hardly action, rather flashbacks and cuts to other insignificant characters. Dragon Ball Z is an old-school classic and, hands down, one of the greatest anime of all time.
