With the chuunin exams (movie arc) arriving soon, we are bound to learn more about the ohsutsuki clan as new characters and new feats are likely to be introduced. So in preparation, I wanted to take some time and recap the ohtsutsuki clan, its members, and explore possible plot points using all officially released material to date.
Part 3- Dimension Sizes
Kaguya has 6 dimension. Her dimensions are separate, but via her root dimension she is able to directly connect them.
Not only does the manga show sunlight in her dessert dimension, the credits from ova ‘The Day Naruto Became Hokage’ clearly shows a sun shining on a wondering Sasuke while in the same dimension. This is proven by the fact that Sakura’ vest the was left behind during the war is including in the scene. Kaguya’ ice dimension has an illuminated moon, which implies the existence of yet another sun. So there’s no more guessing, kishimoto own work confirms that kaguya’ dimensions do contain stars(and would logically also have enough outer space to house more).
Momoshiki has a dimension that is considered parallel to the main Naruto world. This parallel dimension is where he was eventually defeated in the movie and manga by Sasuke the gokage and boruto. In the anime momoshiki’ dimension is depicted as containing several planets. The anime also depicts both momoshiki’ dimension and the main Naruto world with skies teeming with stars.
Now if we were to compare sizes of all these dimensions(kaguya’ 6, momoshiki’ and the main world), I believe Kaguya’ would prove to be the largest. The evidence of this comes from kishimoto’ use of obito to describe kaguya’ dimensions. Obito, a frequent spacetime jutsu user who has his own dimension, is easily able to travel to and from the main Naruto world. During the 4th war obito received a significant boost in chakra and still struggled to open just one of kaguya’ dimensions. It was because of this struggle that he remarked, ‘what an incredibly vast times space’. Just by attempting to open kaguya’ dimensions, Obito knew hers were each easily greater in size than the two dimensions he has no difficulty accessing, his own and the main Naruto world. So if momoshiki’ dimension is equal in size to the main Naruto world, kaguya’ would logically be greater.
What would this mean for ETSO? Well, it would mean 1 of 2 things. Kaguya using ETSO in her root dimension would’ve:

- Destroyed her root dimension and destroy the direct connection to the other dimensions
- Destroyed her root dimension and also the connected dimensions.
