With the chuunin exams (movie arc) arriving soon, we are bound to learn more about the ohsutsuki clan as new characters and new feats are likely to be introduced. So in preparation, I wanted to take some time and recap the ohtsutsuki clan, its members, and explore possible plot points using all officially released material to date.
Part 1- Chakra Fruit

Still, this is crucial because the anime revealed that momoshiki has consumed far more chakra fruits than we were originally lead to believe, and that still might not be his total. Much like momoshiki, our original thought about Kaguya is that she ate just one chakra fruit from the god tree, but by momoshiki’ standards, thats an inadequate harvest. To take this further, in the movie Momoshiki arrives to the chuunin exams and says something along the lines of

Which implies kinshiki must’ve had immense chakra considering the requirements to produce one. Momoshiki also has rinnegan on his hands that was acquired by unknown means.Throughout the movie/manga he eats several

which grants him ‘true power’(eternal youth, immortality,invincibility) and acts as an instant power boost while in combat, but those still didn’t give him a new form. What’s even more is that recently we learned how momoshiki also consumed several chakra fruits- all made from god trees- prior to the events of the movie and called it an

None of which caused any visual changes or transformations. Using only the evidence before me, I believe it’s either because of the methods used to create the chakra fruits And/Or the qualities of each fruit that was the deciding factor(s) for which eye they awaken(Or some serious plot). and in the anime we see momoshiki on a planet with practically a grove(

) of god trees. So again, kaguya eating one chakra fruit was likely the start of her harvest of the planet, and since she only consumed one fruit from her last seedbed, it was a failed harvest. I also believe kaguya has eaten more than one chakra fruit and frankly since her background is still a mystery, we can’t say definitely that she has only ever eaten that one chakra fruit in her lifetime. Kaguya could have consumed 2, 3, or even 4 other chakra fruits that all didn’t come from the planet she last landed on, but from previous planets. Now those numbers aren’t meant as exact figures but as possible figures. The point I’m making here is that they, the ohtsutsuki, have been alive for millennia and that gives them plenty of time to harvest not just one planet, but a bunch of them. Some of which have proven capable of producing multiple chakra fruit. Maybe like momoshiki, kaguya’ previous seedbed was no longer sustainable. So
