Is the God Tree fruit still in play? Has there been anything saying that it is currently on the God-Tree?

Didn't they say the fruit would grow when all chakra meets (meaning when everyone is under Infinite Tsukuyomi). It couldn't sprout because not everyone was under the jutsu. That was my understanding anyway.

The fruit you say is hinted at ripening soon is suppose to come from a Tree that Naruto RS'ed and Madara absorbed before it was fell down which according to Naruto Manga is where the fruit is suppose to grow from so no god fruit for Sasuke.

It seems that Kishi wants us to still be aware of it, the new interesting thing is that it influenced Kaguya to be evil. The circumstances for a new fruit would mean:

A Juubi Jin would need to summon the God Tree like Obito did, and the IT would have to be adequate enough to spawn a fruit.

Sasuke is the only one who can summon the Gedou Mazou, meaning he would need a motivation to want the fruit and become Juubi Jin.

Honestly if it happens, I think Naruto gets it Lol Highly unlikely though that we'll see the fruit I think
