Appearance


Standing at 5’9”, Kōtetsu has wild unkempt black hair, crimson eyes that give off an intense gaze, and distinctive red fang markings on his cheeks. His attire consists of a black ankle-length tailcoat that splits into three separate segments starting from just below his waist, a gray lightweight steel-plated chest piece with gold accents, black pants, a pair of fingerless red gloves, and a black and white, birdlike domino mask. He also wears two belts that form an 'X' around his waist that holds his Chokutō in place on the back of his waist. The belts are made of a special fiber that when removed from his waist, forms a three-section stave that can be used to fight. By connecting the joints of the staves and bending them, they can be returned to their belt form. He wears a black armband with a red crimson moon embroidery on his left bicep.

Like all Inuzuka, Kōtetsu has canine-like features, with his nails being as sharp as razors and his teeth having a fang-like look to them. Due to the permanent fusion he maintains with his Ninken through the use of Fenrir's Lesser Oblige, Kōtetsu can manifest Shiranui’s tails from his tail bone, which he can control at will.


Personality


Kōtetsu has an aggressive personality by nature and incredibly short-tempered. He speaks his mind freely, is incredibly straightforward, somewhat cocky, and confident, even when his own life is in danger. Despite his rough nature, and even though he is a bit wary of humans outside of his clan, Kōtetsu is loyal to a fault to the few people he trusts. Kōtetsu has a bad habit of taunting his enemies in battle, even when he’s at a disadvantage, and he also has a flair for showing off and making dramatic decisions.

Kōtetsu is free-spirited, dislikes being tied down, and has an unquenchable thirst for adventure. Despite his looks, he is quite scholarly, and his natural curiosity and ability to absorb information earned him the nickname “Ashherah”, one who seeks. He also places a lot of importance on spoken oaths and promises, and as such never goes back on his word.

Steel Release

Kōtetsu was born with the rare ability to produce steel structures from both his body and earthen sources, and this was one of the main focuses of his training during his time in Chungsu. Due to extensive training, he is able to use all Steel Release techniques with only a single seal.

Increased Speed

As a close-ranged fighter, Kōtetsu has always focused on ways to increase his movement speed during his years of training. Thanks to this, Kōtetsu’s base speed increase by two additional levels, making him faster than other shinobi of his rank.

Efficient Chakra Control

Due to the years spent dealing with the taxing effect his Inuzuka abilities had on his stamina, Kōtetsu has become able to utilize the chakra for his Inuzuka clan abilities in a more efficient way. These abilities now require 10 less chakra than stated while maintaining their usability.

Lifeline (Chakra)

Kōtetsu’s rigorous physical conditioning in his youth has granted him greater stamina, meaning that he can utilize more techniques in combat without running out of chakra. As a result, he has a higher chakra base than those of his rank (+25% / 400CP).

Way of the Divergent

As a practitioner of Way of the Divergent, Kōtetsu has lost the ability to naturally feel fear. This not only allows him to absorb more damage than the average shinobi, but to also receive blows without faltering or interrupting his movements.​

Background Information


Born deep within Zhouhua’s forest region in the year 788, Kōtetsu’s cries echoed throughout the ancestral homeland of his people. His parents Sýr Inuzuka, the current head of the Inuzuka Clan, and Izuri Inuzuki, a warrior who originally hailed from the Badlands Of Earth, already feared for the future their child would have to face. You see, over 200 years before Kōtetsu’s birth the Inuzuka clan had split into two factions. The first faction consisted of the clan members who dwelled in Zhouhua, while the other faction had left the forest and found a place for themselves in The Freehold of Hanguri. This group rose in status until eventually, in 552 Sai Inuzuka was elected as the 29th Daijō-daijin.

Due to this precedent, the Hanguri faction began to gather gifted children in Chungsu. They educated them, trained them in various fields, and nurtured them into skilled leaders, whether it be in politics, business or the military, all in the hope of one day producing another Daijō-daijin. Over the years it became a sort of tradition for the Inuzuka clan members to send their firstborn child to Chungsu, and now it was Kōtetsu’s turn to make the journey. Shortly after his third birthday, he was brought to the capital of The Freehold of Hanguri, where his affinity for steel release was discovered. It was also here that he met his lifelong friend and swordmaster, Keotsu.

Kōtetsu would spend the next thirteen years going through harsh training in various arts. From medical ninjutsu to kenjutsu, he mastered everything his instructors threw at him. He developed a habit of sneaking out and exploring Chungsu’s nightlife. He became notorious for doing this and eventually, his nightly strolls were known and anticipated by the merchants and scholars of the city. It was during one of these strolls that Kōtetsu came across a drunk man assaulting a woman. Naturally, he couldn’t sit still and watch. He approached the man and the two began to argue, but seeing no progress Kōtetsu physically repelled him, causing him to fall and hurt his head.

The scene they caused alerted some patrolling soldiers, but instead of being praised for his action, the Inuzuka was instead arrested and prisoned beneath the man’s mansion. As it turns out, the man he had injured turned out to be an influential and corrupt politician called Shido Masayoshi, who bribed the guard to apprehend Kōtetsu, lock him up in the mansion, and cover up any rumors or trace in regards to his disappearance. He was held by Shido for months, slowly being tortured and beaten. It eventually reached the point where the young Inuzuka stopped fighting back and lost hope of ever escaping from that hellish place.

Then one night the earth shook and the mansion walls crumbled, freeing his shackles from the ruined building. Kōtetsu crawled through the rubble until he reached the surface, and he would never forget what he saw the night. He didn’t know it at the time, but what he witnessed was the Kyūbi no Yōko as it razed the capital city. Everything was either on fire or destroyed by the large beast. Kōtetsu began to make his escape, but as he walked through what was left of Shido’s mansion, his ears picked up the sound of crying. He went to investigate, and after moving some pieces of rubble he came across three small wolf cubs, so young that their eyes had yet to open, curled up around a black sword.

Taking the cubs and sword with him the Inuzuka fled Hanguri and returned to the Land of Fire. With barely any provision, the journey to his birthplace was more difficult than he expected. After a month of traveling, Kōtetsu finally arrived in Zhouhua, and upon entering the deep forest he was met by a number of his clansmen. As they surrounded him, a lone woman approached him. Her eyes welled up with tears as she hugged Kōtetsu and whispered, “My name is Sýr, and I am your mother”.

Kōtetsu would spend the next few years amongst his clan, getting to know his family and training in the Inuzuka clan’s techniques. During this time he also went on several adventures throughout the Land of Fire and his father’s homeland in the Badlands of Earth. During this time Kōtetsu didn’t just focus on his clan abilities, but made sure to practice his other skills. Having grown tired of the forest, the Inuzuka departed upon a new adventure….

Other Information


Inuzuka Baseline: As a member of the Inuzuka Clan Kōtetsu not only has a passive +15 damage to Taijutsu involving his hands, but he also possesses greatly enhanced senses, especially his sense of smell and his sense of hearing. By concentrating chakra to his nose his sense of smell is amplified to an even greater extent, allowing him to detect, track, and monitor targets from a fair distance away. He maintains a permanent fusion with Shiranui, Ryūjin, and Fūjin through the use of Fenrir's Lesser Oblige, which serve to enhance his senses to the point where he can accurately gauge the strength of both people and techniques.

Description: This technique was designed to rectify the weaknesses of managing multiple bodies within Battle. Many Inuzuka found that their Ninkens became easy targets for area of effect Ninjutsu techniques, and often experienced problems with defending from widespread attacks without compromising their Ninkens health or position. As such this technique was developed as a fix for these flaws. This technique allows an Inuzuka to enter into a lasting fusion with their Ninken(s). While fused the Ninken will inhabit the users body and the user will gain the ability to use techniques that require 'Four Legged Beast' transformation as a perquisite and will also gain the senses of their Ninken. The Ninken(s) will be aware of the world through the users senses however their mind and chakra systems will remain separate. The Inuzuka however will still be capable of tapping into their Ninken's chakra supply, and will be capable of using it to bolster their own supply for future techniques. Lastly, fused Ninken can demerge from their host body at any point in time, and can also choose to re-emerge without cost. Merging and de-merging however is not instant, instead it simply functions as a Ninken or Inuzuka walking outside of the hosts body - and as such is far inferior to the merging abilities of Souma No Kou. One added benefit is that a host can have appendages such as tails or wolf ears that can prove useful in combat, but are largely cosmetic, the main host can also be switched at will - housing the user and other Ninken(s) within a Ninken's body instead.

Note:
- Must be posted at either the start of the battle or in the users bio, and is active at all times. (In the case of the users bio, the user will be incapable of using more than two techniques on their first post in a battle or event, and will suffer the respective chakra cost too)
- In the case of deactivation (On the users account or as a result of an enemy technique) this technique can be reactivated again at the cost of the move. Each reactivation will require more chakra than the last, doubling each time.
- This technique serves as the ultimate baseline form for Inuzuka's. After using another transformation the user is capable of reverting back to this form without completely cancelling the previous transformation, instead they retain the physiological benefits of the other transformation (Such as increased sensing and other abilities) and are also capable of re-entering the previously activated transformation without cost as it is still considered active. (Does not distort or ignore turn restrictions)
- For the purpose of this technique, normal Ninkens will each have a supply of 200 chakra that the user is capable of accessing.

Ninken: Shiranui, Ryūjin, and Fūjin are High Breeds and Kōtetsu's constant companions. As High Breeds, they're not only faster, stronger, and larger than normal ninken, but are also capable of human speech. These three are white wolves with crimson celestial markings covering their fur, with Shiranui’s markings being the most complex. They are five feet tall and wear crimson-colored bracers on each leg, which when twisted in a certain manner can momentarily release a short steel blade three inches in length from within. As a result of the selective breeding and genetic manipulation used to create them, many high breeds have experienced genetic mutations, and these three are no different. Shiranui genetic mutation resulted in her being born with three tails that she can control separately, and she has an affinity for fire. Ryūjin and Fūjin both suffer from heterochromia, a mutation that resulted in one of their eyes being crimson and the other an amber-like color. Ryūjin has an affinity for lightning, while Fūjin has an affinity for wind. One genetic mutation they all share is the almost unnatural way their fur grows on certain parts of their body.

Haiburīdo | The High Breed

Description: After decades of research and selective breeding the High Breed were born, the High Breed, bred to be genetically superior to all other Ninkens immediately displayed talents that completely overshadowed that of lesser breeds from a young age. High Breed's are born with a more robust constitution, resulting in them being larger, stronger and faster than other breeds. They also look far more wolf-like as a result of their wolf-rich bloodline. High Breeds display savage intellect, and are capable of exercising great cunning and problem solving abilities; and as a result of their advanced intellect they have gained the ability of articulation. Other talents include a healing factor, senses twice as strong as a normal Ninken's, and a greater synergy with their Inuzuka counterparts; resulting in fusion and transformation techniques used with a High Breed being a third larger, with time-limited fusion techniques having their duration increased by two turns. However High Breed's have been known to reject their Inuzuka counterparts, entering into a faux relationship for a time, and then turning on their paired Inuzuka the moment they have grown large enough to kill their ill-suited partners. As a result the High Breed were kept secret and many voted for their extermination, but in the end they were merely banished into the woods of Konohagakure, kept alive in case the clan should have need for them in the future. However, should a High Breed fully accept an Inuzuka a most curious phenomenon will occur in which both the High Breed and Inuzuka will become mentally linked, capable of sharing thoughts, feelings and experiences with each other, with such a deeply intimate bond being the absolute apex of a Inuzuka and Ninken bond. A High Breeds ability to 'smell' chakra is also unprecedented, far outstripping that of Ninken such as Akamaru as they are capable of accurately gauging the strength of opponents and techniques among other things. (To be explored further in techniques). Lastly, as a result of the selective breeding and genetic manipulation used to create High Breeds, many High Breeds have experienced genetic mutations, some more simple, such as heterochromia, others more noticeable such as having multiple tails, a paw that's far larger than others, exceptionally long claws and so on. The High Breed also hold a greater affinity to chakra than normal Ninken, ensuring that they excel at walking on water, tree climbing and chakra based Inuzuka techniques, with their actual chakra being dense and bountiful, holding a chakra supply equal to half of their Inuzuka partner and also possessing an affinity towards at least one element. (A high breed cannot use Ninjutsu or elemental Taijutsu (Aside from Inuzuka techniques of course) by default, instead their supposed affinities are there to be explored in future techniques).

Note:
- Must either be posted in the users bio (Along with an explanation of how they met a High Breed and a description of their High Breed) or posted at the start of a battle. (In which case their High Breed by default will simply look like a wolf that, for it's age, is up to twice larger than any known Ninken.)
- Kuromaru - the only Ninken who has displayed articulation abilities to date, is a High Breed descendant, and is the result of an experiment to water down the thick blood of High Breeds to create a less talented, yet as a result more tame, and still somewhat remarkable Ninken.
- High Breeds receive a +20 damage boost to their Inuzuka techniques, and are a rank faster than their Inuzuka counterpart.
- High Breeds are capable of healing faster than normal Ninkens, on it's own this means little in battle, aside from the fact that they are capable of recovering from minor scratches over the course of three turns, and that they rarely suffer from fatigue, capable of running for days on end without tiring.

Kenjutsu: The art of the sword is one of Kōtetsu’s most preferred methods of combat. He honed this skill alongside his lifelong friend and sword saint known as Keotsu. To commemorate what would possibly be the last time the two would ever meet, Keotsu discovered a way to impart the abilities of his own weapon upon Kōtetsu's blade, a ritual that greatly enhanced the power of his kenjutsu techniques.

Description: Keotsu's legendary blade Mythos has been with him through trials and tribulations of all sorts; and in turn, Keotsu has used his strength to help his friends through their own challenges. The strength Keotsu could offer was always limited, though, as so many of his teachings were made with his own blade in mind. This technique allows others to use Mythos, when they normally could not. Because Mythos is tied to Keotsu's soul, he will perform a small ritual with one that Keotsu is incredibly close to: Keotsu will place Mythos in its entirety atop one of his brothers-in-arms' weapons, and coat it in an incredibly thin layer of the Mythril that Mythos is made of. In this action, Keotsu accepts this person into his soul, marking them as someone of great importance to him. This imparts the weapon with all the abilities of Mythos, except for the ability to change shape, the original ability that Mythos possessed in its form of "Mikomi", long, long ago.
*Note: Cannot be used in battle. The purpose of this technique is to allow others to be able to use Mythos.
*Note: True to the blade, if a piece of Mythos is ever used against Keotsu, this technique will "deactivate", and that person will be as if they could not have used Mythos in the first place.
*Note: Those who Keotsu teaches "Brother" will be able to use (Ten'notsurugi: Mythos, Jinsei no Sāberu) Astrum Sword: Mythos, Vita Saber with all of its abilities, except the ability to change shape.
*Note: Ani-infused weapons do not have to be summoned into battle, and can be carried into battle like a traditional Custom Weapon so long as the user's bio states they carry an Ani-Infused weapon.

Description:[ "The Blade of Heaven...Mythos the Life Sabre. One of the Ten Shinning Weapons." When Keotsu returned to the known continent from his journey to regions unknown, he returned with his blade Mythos in a new form; some secret event took place which reconfigured the blade and created a powerful connection between Keotsu and the sword. The Mythril blade retained its ability to change it's shape, but not it's mass when subjected to Keotsu's chakras, as did the scabbard of the weapon, though the two were no longer explicitly linked. A few improvements were noted by Keotsu, though: the blade seemed to resonate better than before, boosting his powers in battle: offensive Kenjutsu techniques and Command Arts have their power increased by +20, and defensive and supplementary Kenjutsu and Command Arts are increased in their effectiveness by +20 (that is, a defensive technique that is A-rank (60 damage) would be capable of now defending from an S-rank (80 damage) ; second, the blade came to reject energies that were foreign to Keotsu - that's to say, for example, if an enemy tried to use Nagashi after grabbing the blade, the energy would stop completely due to the nature of the blade's composition. This particular power comes about from the blade's new found synergy with Keotsu, in an effort to prevent it from being used against him. Retaining all the properties of the metal it was forged from, Mythos is indestructible and will never dull, in any of its forms.

*The user can manipulate the blade’s form during battle at any time, but it costs 35 chakra to do so, and also counts towards one of that turn’s three allotted moves.
*Can only be wielded by Keotsu. When someone else tries to hold the blade, it will reject their chakra and increase its density exponentially, making it too heavy to be lifted. However, it reverts to its original density when Keotsu is holding it.
*While the sword can transform into different types of weapons, like a katana or spear, it is bound by its mass, meaning that the form it takes on has to be within the realms of creating from the same amount of matter.
*While Mythos is in hand, Keotsu is unable to cast Genjutsu at all.

Infinite One-Sword Style: The IOSS usually required a unique case that held a multitude of blades, but because of its size Kōtetsu found it difficult to carry around. He combated this problem by having the case sealed within a small specialized scroll that he keeps strapped to the right side of his waist. By simply opening the scroll the case will appear, or he can throw the scroll skyward to summon the weapons directly.

(Mugen Ittōryū) Infinite One-Sword Style

Description: The user will throw into the air a large container of katana that are wrapped in some sort of cloth or wire in order to bind them for easy travel – while in the air, a seemingly endless number of katana will slide from their casing and scatter all across the battlefield to supply the user with swords to fight with no matter where they are; conversely, the swords can be summoned from scrolls in the same manner as Tenten’s weapons. This technique was created with the belief that a swordsman didn’t need a perfect sword, but rather, the ability to wield any sword with great skill. Each sword has a mechanism built into their hilt that allows only those who know how to use this technique to wield the swords. If someone with no knowledge of how to use this technique attempts to wield one of these blades, needles will extended from the hilt, much like how Samehada does. Due to this, the Infinite One-Sword Style not only assists the swordsman and his allies in battle, but also puts an extreme amount of psychological pressure on the opponent, due to the sheer number of blades.

Weight Training: Kōtetsu has undergone the harsh training method known as special weight training. It took him years to get used to the added weight strapped to his legs, and as a result of this he now able to move with enhanced speed when the weights are removed.

Description:
The Leg Weights used for Special Taijutsu Training with Added Weights are made through the application of a sealing formula to ordinary leg weights. The sealing formula is used to, through the use of chakra, increase the weight of the leg weights to the desired level. The seal can't be applied to anything other than the leg weights and its use is restricted to its original purpose. One can remove the leg weights but the sealing technique in them stays active indefinitely and can't be released. Additionally, the Leg Weights and their unique seal calibration makes them only usable by the ninja to whom they belong. They can't be sealed or stolen.
(Katai Omori: Doroppu) Leg Weights: Drop

Description:
The user stops, bends over to reach his legs and unstraps his leg weights, dropping them to the ground. As a result the user gains a drastic boost to his running speed (doubles) and +20 to all his Strong Fist Kick-related moves. However, this boost in strength and speed is completely nullified when releasing the EIG or when using any kind of movement speed enhancement technique or weight manipulation technique; they don't add up on each other.

Medical Ninjutsu: Kōtetsu has also received medical training and has extensive knowledge of medicines and the human body. He carries several pills on his person that can quickly be used in times of need. He also carries a scroll with medical tools sealed within.

(Heishi Piru) Soldier Pills
Type: Supplementary
Description and Background:Soldier pills are a more combat aimed variation of the military ration pill. Upon ingesting the pill, your chakra supply doubles, but burns at a greatly accelerated rate due to the "pressure" involved. Upon ingesting the pill, any ninjutsu you use gains +15 damage and any taijutsu gains +10 for 4 turns. Upon expiration of the effects you must use an extra 10 chakra for every technique afterwards for 5 turns with no enhanced effects due to the fatigue setting in meaning you have to force your techniques more, and thereby adding to the toll it takes on your body. These pills are a basic medicine medical ninjas use in combat and are essentially black small round pills which are swallowed and absorbed through the mucosa in the stomach, made off of various ingredients and medicinal herbs as well as stimulants. Can only be given out to up to 4 times, excluding the user's use.
Description of Side Effects:
-Upon using a second pill in a conflict the additional chakra cost after expiry rises to +30 until healed
-Upon taking a third pill, the medical ninja will suffer cardiac arrest upon expiry of the pill.
-Costs a move per turn to use.
(Hyōrōgan) Military Ration Pills
Type: Healing
Description and Background:Military Rations Pills (兵糧丸, Hyōrōgan) are special pills that replenish one's chakra and nourish the body. It is made up of powerful stimulants and nutrients, said to allow the user to keep fighting for three days and three nights without rest. Replenishes 50 percent of the user's maximum chakra supply per pill taken, along with pumping stimulants into the body to alleviate tiredness. These pills are a basic medicine medical ninjas use or distribute in combat and are essentially dark brown small round pills which are swallowed and absorbed through the mucosa in the stomach. Can only be given out to up to 4 times, excluding the user's use.
Description of Side Effects:
-Taking two pills in a conflict results in hyper-stimulation of the cardiovascular system. The users heart rate and blood pressure increase to the point they become painful for 6 turns after taking the pill.
-Taking 3 pills in a conflict pushes the user's cardiovascular system to breaking point, resulting in heart failure after 4 turns.
-Costs a move per turn to use.
(Ketsueki no Zōka Piru) Blood Replenishing Pill
Type: Healing
Description and Background: Contains high concentrations of amino acids, iron and mitosis inducing enzymes designed to turbo boost the production of erythrocytes from haematopoetic stem cells in the human body. This pill alleviates and cancels the symptoms of blood loss after one turn. These pills are a basic medicine medical ninjas use or administer in combat and are essentially dark red small round pills which are swallowed and absorbed through the mucosa in the stomach
Description of Side Effects:
-Taking 2 pills leads to increased blood pressure, and increased likelihood of blood clots forming, specially through trauma.
-Taking 3 pills over stresses the cardiovascular system and causes fainting from lack of blood to the head after 4 turns.
-Costs a move per turn to use.
(Kuchiyose No Jutsu: Eisei Yougu) Summoning technique: Medical tools

Description: The medical Ninja will bite his thumb and do the summoning handseals before pressing his palm on the scroll. He will summon any of the medical tools he needs that are listed on the scroll, all or just one, depending on his own needs.

研究所 - a small tent. Into the walls of that house, parts of Nexus' eyes DNA have been inserted, so now it mixes Time And Relative Dimensions In Space , creating an effect of being larger on the inside then it is on the outside. Fūinjutsu: Kōtetsu has several seals across his body that serve to either support, protect, or empower him in battle. The first seal Raikō Kenka is located on the bottom of his wrists. The second seal, Nankaina Oshie, is located on his left arm. The third seal, Ura Shishō Fūinjutsu, is located on his left shoulder blade.

Description: This is a special "ninja tool summon" that allows the user to seal basic ninja tools, like shurikens, kunais, swords, etc into sealing marks placed on their clothes or their body. The ninja tools can be summoned in an instant just by touching the sealing "marks". The greatest advantage of this technique is that the time between taking out a ninja tool, taking the right stance and actually throwing it is greatly reduced and one can unleash a barrage of weapons with great speed in a small time window. Also when a weapon such as a Fūma Shuriken is summoned, the time needed to throw it can be further shortened by having prepared the weapon in fully extended form beforehand. Sasuke even shown that you can have the weapons connected to wires and linked to their sealing marks and used the technique in sealing marks he placed in his wrist bracers.

Description: To understand this technique, one must understand that handseals are simply a way to mold and shape the chakra that goes into a technique. Each handseal shapes the chakra in a unique way and when chained together to form techniques, they make the users chakra form a certain way to release it. One can mimic this temporarily by using a sealing technique to focus ones chakra through it, mimicking the use of handseals. This seal combines these two aspects into one seal. By having a tattoo of all 12 handseals on one of the users arms, he may focus chakra into them when using a technique. The seals will passively rearrange themselves along the users body corresponding to the seals and the order of them that are used in the technique. When each seal on the user's body is filled with chakra, the technique will be released. Thus, the user can replace the handseals of any technique that is released from his body. This, however, can only be applied to the basic 5 elements.
-Must be present in the users bio.
-Can only be used 2 times per battle, once per turn in one technique, 2 turns apart.
-Last use revokes the users elemental specialty, requiring for all techniques the normal number of handseals after that point.
-Can only be used on techniques that are released from the users body.
-First activation of the seal costs 30 chakra points and counts as a move. Each technique used through it costs 20 more than normal.
(Ura Shishō Fūinjutsu) - Reverse Four Symbols Sealing Technique

Description: This is a sealing jutsu that is placed upon the users body, setting it to activate on the users death. It seals everything within a large, nearby, spherical into the users body.

Summoning Contracts: Kōtetsu is the holder of the Rat Summoning Contract, which includes all rodents under the Rattus Genus that reside within the Underland of the Ninja World. He also has access to the Rat Techniques, the supporting ninjutsu of the Rat Contract. He possesses a small tattoo for this summoning contract on the back of his right hand. He is also a signer of the Columbidae Contract, which includes all Doves that dwell in Eden. He possesses a small tattoo for this summoning contract on the back of his left hand.

Weaponry & Tools: Kusanagi: "Heaven Splitting Sword". Crafted by a master swordsmith, Kusanagi is a chokutō that Kōtetsu took while fleeing the destroyed capital of Chungsu after the Kyūbi’s attack. Though it was considered a national treasure, Kusanagi’s steel blade was shrouded within a dark legacy, with some saying that it brought out the murderous intent within a person, while other rumors claimed that the rage resided within the blade itself. A bit larger than a normal chokutō, the blade is an inky black, and its sheath sported the same color but had a single red line spanning down the center.

Kōtetsu has a wide assortment of shuriken and kunai, flash and smoke bombs, and ninja wire in the pouch strapped to his left leg. He also has several small scrolls, pre-made sealing tags, and various other ninja tools stored in another pouch that he wears strapped to the back of his waist for easy access. He also has a scroll that holds his tonfa, and another that holds several three-section staves, which can be summoned by simply unfurling the scrolls. Kōtetsu also possesses a heavy-duty version of the standard paper bombs. This tag has substantially more power than a regular exploding tag and has the kanji for “erupt” instead of “explode” written on them. These tags can't be discerned from their weaker counterparts at a glance.

(Jūhō Kibaku Fuda) Heavy Artillery Exploding Tag

Description: A heavy-duty version of the standard issue paper bomb, this exploding tag has substantially more power than a regular exploding tag, and is generally used in heavy demolition. Other than being .5 inches longer than a regular exploding tag and with the kanji for “erupt” instead of “explode” in the middle, they cannot be discerned from their weaker counterparts at a glance. These exploding tags can be used in place of weaker ones in jutsu involving them.

*In order to use these, it must be mentioned in the user’s bio that they carry this version of the exploding tag – otherwise, the user cannot use these.

Scientific Ninja Tools: Kōtetsu has a few scientific ninja tools that he uses in battle. The first is a Gauntlet worn on his right arm that has several pre-made techniques stored within for quick use. The second tool consists of three smoke-flash bombs, and the last tool is an absorption arm worn on his left hand.

Description: The Shinobi Gauntlet (忍小手, Shinobigote), often shortened to just Gauntlet (小手, Kote), is a scientific ninja tool that is worn on the forearm. The Gauntlet was developed as a way to allow anyone to use complicated jutsu without the need for training or the requisite skills.To use, Scroll Cartridges that have had jutsu sealed into them are loaded into the Gauntlet's chamber. At first appearing as a normal sealing scroll, upon absorbing a technique it shrinks down to the size similar to a real bullet and can then be loaded into a tool to be activated later. When a nature transformation technique is activated from a Scroll Cartridge, the user make a unique single handed hand seal corresponding to the intended jutsu's nature using the hand of the arm that the Gauntlet is worn on. This causes the Gauntlet to release the jutsu from its Scroll Cartridge, firing it wherever the Gauntlet is aimed. Because the Gauntlet's jutsu require no chakra to perform, the user can gain an advantage in battle by releasing what would normally be chakra-taxing techniques in quick succession.
Note: Academy Student to Genin Ninja can have up to Forbidden ranks sealed, done in either battle, training, or the Ninja World. Chunin can have up to S ranks and Jounin and up ninja can have A ranks and below sealed within a Kote.

Description: The user reshapes the Chidori in their hand into the form of countless senbon which are shot with a simple hand movement towards the target. The senbons are extremely precise and have the same numbing and paralyzing effects as Chidori, carrying enormous speed. Because the technique requires no handseals and is done with simple hand movements, its extremely hard to avoid while in short range and quite dangerous to counter due to the precision attacks it can be used to perform.

Description: After performing the hand seal Tiger the user compresses a large amount of chakra built up inside their body, before instead expelling it in the form of a number of dragon head-shaped fireballs. The user then skilfully manipulates that great fire, and attacks their opponent. The temperature of the created flames is so great that, even with the briefest of contact, they are capable of easily burning human flesh and the fireballs are dense enough to behave almost as solid, being able to deliver impact damage in adition to the fire damage. However, this also means that they can be deflected as a solid projectiles.

( Kemuri Senkōdama ) - Smoke-Flash Bombs

Description: Similar in use to the smoke and flash bombs respectively, this tech dazes the senses by emitting a powerful sound and light. It was powerful enough to block even enhanced senses of sight and hearing, leaving those with vision and sound based sensing useless. It's major downside, however, is that due to affecting a wide area, allies could also be caught in the blast radius if not warned beforehand. Due to the mass amount of chakra released from the explosion, chakra based sensing dilate also left useless. These are also able to negate B rank and below technological sensing devices as well.

( Abusōbu Ude ) - Absorption Arm

Description: A cyborg attachment to the user's body, the user has a robotic limb that allows for him to create spheres of energy that are capable of absorbing chakra up to S rank level. These spheres are capable of dealing brute force on impact as well, growing to large heights, up to 4 meters in radius. Starting at roughly rasengan size, these spheres grow proportionally to the size of the technique absorbed. Normal Ninja are able to make use of one of these devices via specialized gloves that allow them to absorb 1 Ninjutsu per turn up to S rank while Cyborgs have these attachments and are able to absorb up to Forbidden powered attacks and 1 from each arm per turn.
Note: Can be used a max of 3 times for Ninja and 6 for Cyborgs.
Note: Cyborg can have up to 2 Absorption Arms.

Synesthesia: Kōtetsu suffers from a rare form of synesthesia known as Misophonia. This is a neurological disorder in which negative experiences such as anger, hatred, and disgust are triggered by specific sounds. Coupled with the fact that he has enhanced hearing, his short temperament and bad attitude are attributed to this disorder.
