How is it that Koji's chakra isnt able to be detected? Chakra is like your lifeforce energy if it is completely drained you die. It doesn't seem as if Koji is able to be detected via chakra sensing. Maybe that's because he is already dead or perhaps he simply came back from the dead. When he attacked Konohamaru with the Samahadi Truth Flames he said "The flames of purgatory will never be extinguished". How is it that he has a jutsu that allows him to summon flames of purgatory? That's because he has been there. Konohamaru somehow knew that Koji wasn't a normal human. That was the only hint that Koji is anything other than human and the fact that his chakra cant be detected. There is also the picture in which he is referred to as The Phantom. These three things lean heavily towards the possibility of him being undead, halfdead, living ghost, reaper, shinigami or just pure bad ass.

The same way Kisame's wasn't, other than that he's likely Jiraiya's body retrieved by Kara and modified. If Ao survived Jyubi dama then what're a few rods.

I thought of that but Jiraiya was tall and had broad shoulders Koji doesn't. But then again its Jiraiya who is to teach the child of prophecy.
