1st Class : Naruto & Jiraiya (Success)

Naruto had well overwhelm his sensei in a sense of learning capabilities, strengh and humorous attempts to surpassed him and we can say Naruto has succeed at some point. All his sensei virtues can be seen through Naruto and this is a very good chemistry between them.

2nd Class : Sasuke & Orochimaru (Failed)

Simply because Sasuke killed or u might says attempted to kill his own sensei and their relation are no more than Sasuke taking advantage from Oro for his own gain.

3rd Class : Sakura & Tsunade (Complex)

Apart from taking Tsunade's healing ability and nurture her strengh to perfection, she will followed just as her sensei step. BEING a forever virgin due to her UNDYING love to Sasuke, and she had vowed to kill him, so just as her sensei, she will grow old unmarried.


Verdict : These 3 sannin will meet with similar condition of their predecessor's finale, where this time Sakura might summoned Katsuya, Sasuke dead and Sakura will be alone forever, just like Tsunade.

Sannin literally translates to "Three people".
The Legendary Sannin title is NOT a rank, but a title given out by Hanzo. Jiraiya(J), Tsunade(T), and Orochimaru(O) were given this title because of their combined strength, what these 3 ninjas were able to achieve as a group.

This doesn't mean that Naruto (N), Sasuke(S1), and Sakura(S2) can't obtain these titles. The Legendary Sannin are known all over the Ninja World, so if people find out that N, S1, and S2 are people trained by the original Sannin, and see that these younger people are even stronger than their masters, then they might start getting recognition, so much so that people unofficially call them the "New Sannin", or just Sannin, but acknowledge that they are the new Sannin. However, Hanzo did give J, T, O the title because he saw how the three of them cooperated, and how it made them stronger. If N, S1, and S2 don't cooperate and show their strength together, then they might just be acknowledged as strong people who trained under the Legendary Sannin, rather than obtain the prestigious title that has only been given to three people in the history of the Ninja World.

I believe that Nagato, Yahiko, and Konan could have also gained the title of Sannin, but they were a little too inexperienced and young when Konan was captured, and Yahiko died too young before the three of them could have gained the reputation of Sannin.
