[Spoilers] The future of Orochimaru

Well, now that Orochimaru got his arms back from the shinigami, what do you think he is planning next?

He has said himself that he is still interested in acquiring Sasuke's body, but said that he didn't have enough power yet.

But now that he has his arms back, he is considerably more dangerous than he was before. Oro is basically at the strongest we've seen him since part 1, maybe even stronger. Since the 4 previous Hokages are under his control with edo tensei, he also has them fighting on his side. I don't see him only using them so Sasuke can learn the "truth" and releasing the jutsu.

Many have predicted that Orochimaru will end up being the final villain...including myself..and right now it's really starting to look that way.

I don't see him and Sasuke playing nice for the rest of the manga though, i have a feeling eventually Orochimaru is going to attempt to get Sasuke's body again. Either that or Sasuke will turn on him simply because he is a threat. It's hard to say right now..

What are your guys predictions for what Orochimaru has planned for the future? Do you think he's going to go after Sasuke's body, or just team up with him? Do you think they will be allies from here on?

Well, it is hard to say. It seems Oro is all for Sasuke destroying the Village Maybe he will wait till after then to take over Sasuke.

Full powered oro with senju dna :T_T: screw sasuke at this point he doesn't need him.With senju dna from zetsu he can finally use his senjustu in battle.

Yeah it seems he absorbed some senju DNA which might give him wood release as well as zetsu like regeneration, not that he really needed it considering how much punishment he could take prior to absorbing the DNA.

Knowing Orochimaru he has plans beyond this, probably some crazy scheme to gain even more power.

Think of a Rinnegan Orochimaru. That would be BA.

hell yea man. This **** is why Sasuke revived Orochimaru and said "there are some things only Orochimaru can do"

I cen't imagine Sasuke doing that on his own. He definitely needed Orochimaru's creepy ass to pull off something like that.

But i still have 1 question. Oro is always on the hunt for a strong vessel. But zetsu isn't strong ? Se he needs a new body first to try and take Sasuke's body ? Isn't there a period of some years before he can possess the next body ? like when shippuden started...

Yeah he can only use his body transfer jutsu once every 3 years. The last time he tried to take someones body was when he tried to take Sasuke's, and he failed. Also, he was just kinda "reborn" in a way. I think because he was unsuccessful when trying to take Sasuke's body he was able to use it again.

However if Kishi stays true to what he said about it before, Orochimaru shouldn't be able to transfer bodies again for another three years.

He said "you're not snakes anymore" at least in the translation i read.

I was sort of thinking the same thing, but lets be real, it's Orochimaru. No way he's gonna be a good guy anytime soon, at least i don't think so. I was also curios about what he meant when he said "you're not snakes anymore" and considered making a thread about it to see what others thought.

One thing it could be referring to is taka, Sasukes group. Since they were called hebi(snake) in the past


Maybe I'm just missing something, but generally i understand the chapters very well and end up having to explain things to others...
