taijutsu does not go to kakashi, we have seen kakashi mangled before, I've never seen itachi get touched without wanting too.

ninjutsu does not go to kakashi, we have seen these to go at it using ninjutsu, itachi was better and even copied kakshi's water clone...also 3 elements does not mean anything when the magnitude to which he can use them is fodder besides lightin..sorry thats not enough itachi katon at 30% was more intense than anything kakashi has besides raikiri

genjutsu: itachi made kurenai look fodder not just using tsukyomi

kenjutsu goes to itachi: orochimaru wanted itachi's body soon as he seen how good itachi was, itachi used kenjutsu to beat nagato, the seven swordsman are not that serious besides kisame...plus kakshi did not have to go against the shark blade

stamina: tie, they both have bad stamina however ones due to sickness and the other one is just naturally weaker... lets see how long kakshi would be able to sustain something as draining as susanoo

experience: itachi was doing s-rank shit at a young age, he then worked for an organization thatwas started by madara and way more elite than any crappy anbu department

Even Part 1 Kakashi was enough to force Itachi to use MS, else he wouldn't defeat him or it would take a long time.
That means that Part 1 Kakashi = Itachi in base.

Part 2 Kakashi obviously has the edge.
And do people really say that Itachi has the edge in taijutsu in kazekage rescue arc?
He outmaneuvered Itachi (30% of chakra doesn't matter in taijutsu) in taijutsu. You might say that their little spar ended in a deadlock, but this is exactly what Kakashi wanted to achieve. He put Itachi right where he wanted him to be, so he's the winner.

Current MS Kakashi > MS Itachi > Current base Kakashi >> Part 1 base Kakashi = base Itachi

Hokage level reasoning can only be done with equivallent iq. And that ability is his. Kakashi didnt even have that at jonin age 13.
I think you read the wrong gaiden arc at his age Itachi was squad captain and completeing missions.
Multiple enemies is was only one ninja and he was about to get killed when minato saved him. He developed his skills only after he got his sharingan he is highly dependant on it. What skills did he have before that as far as i remember chidoru and average stamina and possibly kagebunshin. Chidori which couldnt hut a fly. Although i like kakashi guy sensei is the only true non free powerup or kekkei genkai jonin and hes stupid.

Speed can also go either way.(keeping up with v2 jins and gated gui, itachi supposedly keeping up with kcm naruto)
Handseals go to itachi.(but most of kakashi's techs use one or no handseals.)
Genjutsu goes to itachi(but nothing short of tsukuyomi is working on kakashi..not that this is a vs thread)
Stamina goes to kakashi.


So it's pretty even.

strengh/Taijutsu : Equal- i'm tempted to say Kakashi because of his rival and his gate but i prefer say they're equal.

Genjutsu : It's Itachi's speciality, he's above Kakashi there.

Speed : equal

Traps : Kakashi, he outsmarted almost everybody strong characters it include Itachi, Nagato and Obito... he's the master of traps.

Handseal : Itachi - By what we know we can only reffer to part 1 so it's Itachi, Kakashi part 1 hardly saw them with his sharingan, we don't know Kakashi's handseal speed apart from non canon in anime.

Chakra : Kakashi clearly.

Chakra control : Kakashi , even got used to his sharingan and can fight for almost 2 days with his own chakra.

Inteligence : Equal - Kakashi outsmarted him with a clone when both used a clone but they're about equal, i personally think Kakashi is smarter but i'll say equal to be fair.

Versatility : No contest Kakashi, he can use his noses,eyes,ears better than anyone,any weapons,kenjutsu, his mulitples elementals,sumoning, all range and all kind of jutsu, heal himself,make strategy in no time.

Sealing : They can both use sealing jutsu but Totsuka put Itachi above her.

Experience : No contest Kakashi, Kakashi has about 40 S rank missions whereas Itachi has only 1 if i remember , at least 2 Shinobis war, served Anbu for manny years when Itachi was 3 or 4 years old.

Defense : Kakashi's kamui is no contest the best defense agaisnt any jutsu.

sneak : Kakashi here, as a true ninja he very quiet and can kill anyone with surprise attacks, he can detect anyone with the smell and can also use sillent Killing if i remember.


Conclusion : Itachi is a good ninja but Kakashi is a better ninja.

Well it's Gai was more keeping pace with Kakashi, he could have easily sped off and left him behind. Gai can blitz Kakashi and decapitate him with a clothesline before his crappy Kamui can do anything.
