Itachi and Sasuke both defeat Gaara with mid difficulty at most.

-3rd eye is connected to the optic nerve, Genjutsu will still work against it as Gaara is still connected to the eye.
-His sand didn't even block Amaterasu. His sand was blocked by an Enton projectile. Amaterasu can't be blocked by his sand as it spawns where the user is looking.
-Gaara could only pull Madara out of a V2 Susanoo in a desert with Onoki's help. He can't do the same outside of a desert.

Susanoo tanks everything Gaara has to offer while Magatama and Enton Blades kill him. Madara's multiple smaller Magatama broke through Gaara's sand, Itachi's will do the same especially since it looked bigger than the ones Madara fired individually. Sasuke also has Magatama but they are made of Amaterasu. His Enton Blade should be able to easily cut/burn through Gaara's sand.

- Tsukuyomi is a mid ranged jutsu. False. The Sharingan works irrespective of distance, speed, or defense. As shown by Sasuke when he put Deidara under genjutsu when the latter was flying and quite high up from the ground.

- Gaara pulled itachi out of Sussano'o. False. Onoki lightened his sand, which is why he accomplished so.

- Gaara has blocked Amaterasu. Flase. Sasuke simply threw an Enton flame, sitting on top of his Ribs form to 'guard' himself. A focused Amaterasu eats through everything at such an alarming rate. Suchs feats have been repeatedly shown through Danzo disappearing within a blink of an eye, Itachi besting Nagao, his summons, and escaping through the frog's stomach, and almost the entire Hachibi under its shroud within two to three seconds tops.
