The flashbacks were needed

It really outlined the friendship between Naruto and Sasuke. And the panel where Sasuke states that Naruto is the closest thing to a best friend that he's ever had, it provided character development. Also states that both characters are fighting with possible kill intent while still considering each other as their best friends.

This is going to be an epic fight. So far its starting out good! The part where Sasuke and Naruto said they were friends made my eyes moist.

the flashbacks concerning the parts of Sasuke's conversations with Itachi and Hagoromo were needed. The others were completely redundant imo. There's been a thousand of them already that said the same thing. If that point was to get made again, there should've just been 1 recall statement referring to the last time they were there, nothing more. Useless flashbacks littered a chapter again.
