The five most influential ninja in the series.

Hey guys, I wanna start up a discussion about the five most INFLUENTIAL characters in the series. This does not mean powerful at all, this is in terms of how great an impact they have had on the ninja world. List your top five and your reasoning.

Restrictions:
SO6P
The sage's sons.
Naruto.
Sasuke.
Ton ton.
Tailed beasts.

(They're all highly powerful and influential so I'm knocking them off the list to see some more creativity.)



My top five would have to be...

1. Tobi - He trained Itachi, helped slaughter the Uchiha clan, started a war, has control over most of the tailed beasts, is manipulating Sasuke into something horribly evil and dangerous, and is responsible for starting and leading Akatsuki. While it may not be true, he also may be the reason Nagato had the rinnegan. Hugely powerful man, he's manipulated and controlled entire countries with ease.

2. Jiraiya - He trained Nagato, Minato, and Naruto plus got most of the intel on Akatsuki and their movements which is the reason the organization fell, Naruto defeated Pain, and the ONLY reason that Tobi doesn't have all of the bijuu yet. All of his students are extremely monumental in their own rights as well.

3. Hashimara - He founded Konoha, the strongest of the villages, controlled tailed beasts and offered them to countries as peace offerings, made peace with the Uchiha, and is still a huge corner stone of this series despite never appearing in it minus edo tensei. On top of this he trained Hiruzen who went on to train the Sannin who all went on to train highly skilled students.

4. Orochimaru - Only slightly behind Hashimara, Orochimaru has been the main villain throughout the series and despite his death his effects still linger. He left behind countless amounts of research and data, one that can apparently change the course of the war, perfected edo tensei which is playing a huge role in the current war, set Kabuto up to become one of the most powerful and important characters in the series and he is the one that figured out the sharingan's evolution into the rinnegan.

5. Kabuto - Disregarding his currently stupidly OP abilities, Kabuto is one of the most influential ninja. He has intel on everyone, hell, he's the main reason we're learning new things at the moment (rinnegan evolution, multiple sages, character origins, etc) and he probably even knows who Tobi is. What's more important is his perfected edo tensei, Orochimaru perfected it but Kabuto made it godlike - he can create edos that can kill tens of thousands of people with meteors. On top of this he's currently powering up the 100,000 zetsu army which will no doubt have a large effect on the out come of the war.
(Although he still creeps the f**k out of me!!! :flaw

It said it briefly, Tobi didn't train him much but I'm fairly confident it said he was under his training shortly after meeting until the massacre. I'll try to find the panel when I have the time.

Mind elaborating on #2? To me Madara only appears in the manga now to be a war asset, doesn't seem like he had much more influence than any other jounin in his time considering his clan abandoned him. :/

I'd put Minato in place of Kabuto. Other then that I agree with ur list

Edit: Here're the reasons why I think he should be in the top 5 then Kabuto..
1. Naruto -the star of the show is still alive coz Minato prevented Kurama 4rm destroying konoha..
2. Itachi & sasuke (same reason as above for Naruto)
3. Kabuto - Sasuke/Itachi killed Orochimaro thus Kabuto was able to stand & surpass him..
4. If the Konoha had been destroyed, other nations would have taken advantage of this to wreck Fire Nation. This would have started the 4th Ninja world war which tobi wanted & his moon's eye plan would have succeeded a long ago

The things he did pretty much only applied to a small portion of Konoha and Sasuke. He did a lot but not quite enough impact over all to get onto my top five, he's definitely top 10-20 though.

I didn't put Tobi initially but now i think about he is probabaly the most influential. He basically single handedly started a war that will change the shinobi world for good and manipulated some of the strongest characters in the series and made them his puppets,.

Yea Tobi is literally insane when it comes to controlling things, amazes me how well the guy can manipulate what's happening around him.

1.Hashirama-Legendary Ninja who controlled all the tailed beasts and was the Most Powerful Shinobi of his era. also defeated Madara and Kakuzu and left a huge legacy of the ninja world.

2.Jiraiya-Legendary Sanin, Nagatos Mentor, Narutos Mentor,Toad sage, Obtained Sage Mode.

3.Hiruzen-was the most powerful shinobi in history and admired as the God of Shinobi, mastered all jutsus in konoha, longest regining hokage, called the proffeser due to his mastery of all forms of shinobi combat

4.Oro-Legendary Sanin, extremely powerful ninja, child prodigy that appeared only once a generation, gained immortality.

5.Itachi-mastered the sharingan at age 8 and he was the Master of all MS techniques. became an anbu captain at age 13, had very high intellect and talent and he was amazing and very skilled with shuriken jutsu. made sasuke extremely powerful and was a child prodigy.
