I think Obito's dream was to be the first uchiha hokage, he's pointing to his crest and his head is next to the hokage monument
i think maybe he found out the truth about his clan and village, what sasuke wants to know. Orochimaru thinks sasuke is too young to know.
when sasuke said he wants to know the truth about the clan and the village it showed madara and tobi(obito)
orochimaru knows a lot and I think the scroll has information about the uchiha and senju
maybe after finding out about the truth he realized he couldn't be a Uchiha hokage and it'd only be given to senju's
tsunade became the next hokage and she is related to hashi
orochimaru might be senju because of his incredible life-force, he was going to be the next hokage but hiruzen chose minato
jiraiya might be senju because how much chakra he has, he's not good at genjutsu, and he wants peace through everybody understanding each other like the younger son
we don't know what happened to the senju clan but they probably married and lost their last names, unlike the uchiha who married their cousins to keep their blood strong
so minato might be senju because of some of his techniques that resemble tobirama

and naruto resembles nawaki a possible senju resemblance

so obito realized he couldn't be a uchiha hokage and probably learned many other things that made him hopeless, so when he was thought to be dead, he posed as madara, if it wasn't for kabuto or naruto breaking his mask everyone in the naruto world would thought obito was still dead,he wanted to be no one and maybe the reason why madara was supposed to be revived was because he was supposed to be the ten tails jinchuuriki
