The Holy Tree was no harm for humanity. It wasn't even affected by the wars between humans. While the Shinju can alone gather Nature and Spiritual energy, it never wanted to absorb Life's Force, since it means KILLING. So I pretty much think this is only happening right now because Kaguya or Madara want it to happen.

Rikudou creating the moon to seal the Juubi/Kaguya was the best option because there's no energy to collect. If Rikudou was wrong, it would go like "UNIVERSE ENERGYYYYY JUUBI WILL BE STRONGER THAN EVER and I will kill everyone" hahaha

Rikudou never "died" because the world will always have energy all around it. Since Kaguya was the first HUMAN to use chakra, I believe places like Mount Myoboku were always there, with their creatures using chakra with no problem.

Still unkown: why did those creatures started to help humans in their fights, since the Holy Tree never cared about humans problems.

Sage art: I like to see how imporant Sage art is. It's probably the strongest feat someone can achieve in this manga. Seriously. It's the world's power!

Plus: this theory leads nowhere, to be honest.

It is stated in legend that the fruit was not to be touched, I feel as if the holy tree was conscious of the wars happening

It's hard to think why animals would join forces with humans.

Plus, if the tree was dangerous, the animals who had chakra should be there to destroy it before anything happens. I can't create a connection where the Holy Tree gained life (becoming the Juubi) and started to go after everyone who had its chakra.

It just doesn't fit with what the Shinju is said to be.

I think those animals always had their places.

Just look at the giant island turtle. It's probably WAY OLDER than Gamamaru. And Gamamaru was there when Rikudou Sennin was alive!

Well, I felt that this thread could be nice, and I was right; the only thing that disappointed me is your final words. Man, you sucked at the end, but still:

I think Sage art is the strongest feat in the manga as well. before, I used to doubt about this, but after I noticed that Juubi is nothing but natural energy, my opinion became solidified. If Juubi, the power that gives godship is an accumulation of natural energy, then the person that can accumulate a maximum of that energy can achieve the same feats as the jinchuriki of Juubi. better, since the sennin does not have a being inside him to struggle about controlling it, I think a master of Senjutsus is actually stronger than a Jinchuriki of Juubi.

My other gamble is this: unlike what people think - that is Rinnegan originated from Sharingan or whatever else, what if Rinnegan is the consequence of being perfectly one with nature by mastering sage mode. Let think about it. Because of his pseudo sage mode, Juugo can know whatever going on by monitoring bird. Because of his sage mode, Naruto can pretty much know and hear everything around him. What if he can even know how things are made from micro-organism or at cellular level just by being in sync with nature. think about it. How did Naruto learn to create eyes?

It your call, but seems to me that Rinnegan - the eyes that give knowledge - are the results of enlighenment, a perfect sync and understanding of nature.

Yeah, that's true. Who's left to explain things to us? Obito already explained. Madara already explained. Rikudou already explained.

There would need to be someone else (Rinnegan Orochimaru, Zetsu, Kaguya, Shinju) or the full Uchiha's stone table reveal, lol.

I read in Mangapanda that Hagoromo told that Juubi is actually the reincarnation of the Original Godtree and it reincarnated itself into Juubi, basically, to get revenge against Humanity as Kaguya betrayed Godtree!!

The last chapter makes me believe there's no way the Shinju would follow Kaguya's intentions. It was all her fault, no the Shinju, I believe.
