Now, ther has been a lot of foreshadowing that the s06p brother, Homaru, would come back. But why should he? Did the s06p come back to life to fight madara? no. So why would hamura

Also, how can u survive hundreds and thousands of years. While Homaru must be OP, he is defo not THAT OP

Now, we have a pattern of powerups over here

1) mUst be r near dead
2)Must be trolled by Madara

C'mon, lets face it. Madara trolled Sasuke and Naruto. He both left them near dead so they could meet up with the s06p.
Now, whch other person has been left in that state

Obito, the main man. He was supposedly "killed" by madara, but how many times ahcve these sit turned out to be false

Madara survived well after he "died". So did Obito. Naruto survived even tho WZ said he couldnt. Why not Obito
Also, there are 2 moe reasons why
1) Obito has an uncanny way to avoid death

While now Madara is "dead" or reabsorbed, Obito does have a good motive to avoid being in IT, and to try 2 atach Kaguya

You may be right that Obito will get some kind of power up. Not sure whether it will come from sage's brother, though. I was more expecting Naruto to heal him. At the current point in the plot, though, a random power up like you've suggested might be the only way to avoid the lava.
