I absolutely agree on the bolded sentence. But, that's exactly why I believe Kakashi will win. He's the main character and he needs his time to shine. This will also be the way of confronting his past, which is what he struggled against ever since the end of Kakashi Gaiden. A perfect finale for a third main character's story if you ask me - overcoming his weaknesses and repairing his faults.

On what Kishimoto plans to do with the character of Obito. It is literally 50/50 whether he'll win or not. I think Kakashis death could end his tragic story just as well to be fair, but hey- lets all just wait and see what
