The Death of Uchiha Sasuke The guess that Sasuke will die is unlikely for several reasons. The only reason people back this up is because he hasn't been confirmed for the movie yet. (Though there may be several other reasons as to why he hasn't been confirmed yet.) The chance that he is going to be killed by Naruto is already very slim as Naruto stated it himself; He would never kill Sasuke, he would rather find another way. He also said that if he did indeed kill Sasuke then he would die himself, though Naruto is confirmed in the movie. This means that Naruto most likely isn't going to die. (About 90% certainty) Naruto also said that this fight would not be like Indra and Ashura's and that they are not Hagoromo's sons, they are who they are. It was never confirmed how Indra and Ashura's fight ended, most likely because whatever the outcome of that fight was is what the outcome of this fight won't be. The most likely ending of Indra and Ashura's battle was that they both died. (As Hagoromo did state that there bodies was destroyed.) This leaves three options for how Naruto and Sasuke's fight can end;
I would personally say that its most likely that neither dies, for the simple reason of Naruto's words that he would never kill Sasuke. (Not to mention that Naruto promised that he would bring Sasuke back and he never goes back on his word, if he did then that would ruin his character.) Though we know that Naruto most likely don't die in this fight as he is in the movie, now I say that he most likely don't die. The reason for this is that there may be other reasons of how he can die and still be in the movie. Such as he may me a spiritual character, a memory or a genjutsu. He may be reborn or revived by someone after dying. Though those alternatives are unlikely which is why I placed them at a 10% chance of being correct. So again, the most likely is that neither dies, but that Sasuke loses the fight. Though there is still the alternative that he wins and that is why he isn't confirmed that he is in the new movie. Now there are two reasons why I don't think he has been confirmed yet;
Lets say Sasuke do becomes Hokage before Naruto or in the place of Naruto. If he has the Hokage hat on his new design, then showing him before the movie comes would be a huge spoiler to the manga. Lets say he awakens another Rinnegan or the 9 Tomoe Rinnegan, then again it would be a spoiler to the battle. There are other things that can happen too, and there are several possible reasons why he hasn't been confirmed yet, other than him dying. |
