i think that madara fooled hashirama and the world. he is still alive which means shodaime didnt really defeat him.
He probably didnt get his eye hurt to have the mask on. I tihnk for some reason he is fused with obito and has only one eye for now.
ALso obito died in the hidden grass, zetsus village so that also supports this. And madara couldnt have possibly lived with his body for 200 years so he had to do something.
Madara is too strong to be defeated by some1 like hashirama.

I bolded the part in the quote I found weird.

One, Harashima was very powerful. It's sort of like saying: (Let's use Greek mythology), Athena was too strong to be defeated by someone like Ares. Athena may be much stronger than Ares, but to talk about him like this doesn't take into account that Ares could still destroy countries if he so desired.

Two: Hashirama did defeat Madara. He didn't kill him. But he defeated him. Madara is strong, but he is by no means "The Ultimate Shinobi" Of the five Hokages at least two of them were stronger than him: the first and the third. We know this because the first beat him, and because the third was supposedly one of the strongest Shinobi ever.

I know you mean that Madara tricked Hashirama, but I just didn't like the way you phrased it, and its late here, and I decided to point out flaws that I saw with the phrasing.

Even more, in my mind, I don't think Madara tricked Hashirama. I think it was it was one of those "Leave him for dead" things. They always turn out to be huge "LOLOOPS" moments.

i will never think of this show as A>B>C, CUZ IT ISN'T. i think shodaime did defeat madara but madara escaped. plus madara is probably semi-weak at the moment in the manga because itachi said hes a pathetic shell of his former self(somewhere around those lines). and in my opinion out of the 5 hokages from strongest to weakest [4th, 3rd, 1st, 2nd, 5th]. we know tht 3rd was probably stronger than the 1st, but that DOESN'T mean that the 3rd could have defeated madara. i think shodaime defeated madara cuz he had the *unique* ability to stop kyuubi and his water jutsu beats madaras fire jutsu. so thats 2-zip, shodai. but yes shodai beat madara making everyone think he was dead but madara escaped somehow.

dude i have this huge theoary on how kakashi will 'grow" k i think that madra has obitis body (hence: zetsu) and thats why zetsu and madra are so close and if u think about it the grass village cuald have been created by madra (hence:the war during kakashi gieden) k when madra tries to destroy the village he meets with kakashi and kakashi sees that madra is the reason y he lost so manny ppl (his dad died from a mission regarding grass village so did obiti) and then kakashi goes insane and nearly kills madra untill madra says

"for genarations real uchihas have killed there best friends forpower lets see if u got the guts to but ur sharingan to the real test" (or something like that he kills all his emotions and gets so close to killing him
untill he has a flashback of obiti saying those who abandon there friends are trash but those who dont are even worse trash and lets himm live as tears fall from his face madra gets up and gets killed by other ninja kakashi tried to stop them but it was 2 late the last remains of "friendship" was broken
