Some movie plots say toneri absorbed it while some say naruto just didn't show it while some say he lost it and got Hamura chakra as a replacement while some say toneri absorbed it but naruto got it back. So can someone just tell me what really happened to that mode did he lose it did he or did he not or did he lose it and get it back

Tonrei did absorb some of his chakra, but knocked most out of him.

Kishi stated he made this movie even for viewers who didn't read the manga. He still wants the people to be surprised in the anime and not be all confused while watching the movie.
