Hashirama was not born with KKG because of his clan, he was the first person to use wood release meaning that his proficiency in Water and Earth to so great(non had reached that level) that he was able to combine those, a true act of genius if you ask me.

i think every single one killed each other and died.

hashirama was probably on the verge of death in his fight w madara so thats why he had to go for the kill, but hashirama survived only because madara was destined to stay alive through that ordeal. that is why naruto told sasuke at the iron bridge that they both saw something inside each other and that theyd both die if they fought. which is what happened to every reincarnation who fought.
