Sasuke did enton, and who said it was without a sharingan? Your thinking the wrong way.. if amaterasu requires sharingan and he uses it.. you should be thinking oh ok so he activated his sharingan there. Do you really think Sasuke if standin with those 2 without his sharingan activated?

And the "katon" thing is a problem for the translation. Kishimoto's translation = Viz translation. So you can't judge his words unless you have seen the Viz translation.
