The Failed Villain

Madara called the ninja world "The Failed World", but Kaguya is quickly becoming a failed villain. Where's her backstory? Who is she, and why should we care? What is her relevance to the overall plot? Why is she making an army? Not going to lie, I am quickly losing interest here. This plot arc seems somewhat contrived, at least so far. It's looking more and more like Kishi wrote himself into a corner on this one.

Kaguya is a stupid villain because she came out of ****ing nowhere and along with her family, helped shit all on the Naruto manga.

The thing is she isn't even human. She has no emotions, no backstory. She appears to be commanded around by a black shadow with mommy issues. She is arbitrarily powerful and appears to have inexplicably owned Madara. In a word, her appearance is lame. It makes no sense, and she has literally no humanizing or compelling aspects at all.

So far I'm really tempted to just call this bad writing, and write off this manga in general. Out of respect for what NARUTO used to be, I haven't yet done so.

I really want backstory about her. She doesn't feel like a villain. She has a plan but I think the story is going to slow and the writer is not making referances to more important stuff. Hagoromo came out of nowhere now. He is revived. Where is Hamura and what will be his importance to the story? Also what was his past? I also have a question: If the Juubi is the fusion between Kaguya and the Shinju why in hell is it much weaker than her? Or was it stronger in the past?

Don't get me wrong, you could be completely right. I just say give it some time first. They may be a perfectly logical reason why Kaguya's so...bland. Kishi's human too, he must know for sure that Kaguya isn't as well written as someone like Pein, I'm sure he's aware of how boring Kaguya is and is either going to make her less boring or hurry up and defeat her and make the manga better

I mean TBH she doesn't even have dialogue. It just seems... um. Like the manga is on pause, waiting for Madara to come back. The reduced activity here on NB sort of reflects that. To the last poster, surprise is NOT an emotion. So far she has not really shown any demonstrable personality.

You pressed the Madara's returns haters button now this thread will be filled with shitty comments stating reasons why Madara won't come back. Not that I have a problem with Madara coming back. And don't get me wrong I see potential in Kaguya but she not living up to it yet. It doesn't mean I want her to be over with so we can have Madara back.
