I don't think that Nue vanishing is anything related to Boruto's eye since in the next episode we see mitsuki standing with Boruto.
When boruto and Sumire went to that dimension it turned into a bracelet. I think this bracelet would be entrance to that dimension. I know it sounds funny but anything can happen.
Furthermore, please watch the episode again and see Sumire smile while when chidori stream was coming out from his eye.This could mean that it was planned by sumire to move Nue to that Dimension whenever he would've been stuck somewhere like in that barrier.

Therefore, I think it's Sumire behind this dimensioning thing and not Boruto but yeah i can be wrong here maybe.

It never denied it, but it's most likely was the Nue.
