Okay so here’s the entire plot with shinobi,Kara,and the otsutsuki.

So Ao was controlling katasuke to fire jutsu at momoshiki cuz

They wanted momo to succeed in creating a chakra fruit.

Kara would then turn on momo and use the fruits power to bring the other otsutsukis to earth via a faster method of travel.

The gods would then use earth as their new home for scouting planets.

They’ll destroy everything and everyone.

It’ll be up to Boruto to stop them.
