I believe sasuke will join in this battle undecided as what he wants to do but sees madara and so called madara(obito) fighting agianst the shinobi forces. After a series of questions he decides to fight against madara and obito not as an ally to the shinobies but as an enemy to obito.
plus if he still feels as if he wants to destroy the leaf he has to stop the guys trying to destroy the world so he can do it on his own
