To say this ending was really disappointing would be an understatement. Like where is my favorite but also very important character Urahara? He wasnt in chapter 685 either so we will never get to see what happened to him at all. So many unanswered questions and plot holes. It's unfortunate that Kubo had to end it like this, but he also shot himself in the foot tbh. So many fights during the arc could have and should have been half as long as they actually were. That way he could have used more chapters for the final fight and for a better conclusion, but it's too late for that now.
This arc started off pretty well honestly, but then it turned into.......this ending. And the announcement wasn't even about the anime returning, just a pointless live-action film that's bound to be terrible. Even if this arc completely crapped out at the end, I'd still like to see it animated someday.
I guess the only good thing that will come out of this ending will be the saltstorm that this thread will inevitably become because of the angry IchiRuki shippers who'll be more upset about their pointless and stupid ship not sailing, instead of the fact that Bleach's ending was ****ing terrible to the point that it made Naruto's ending look great.
I'll say it one more time how could you forget Urahara???
