So what if, for the ending.. Everybody gets put to sleep under the infinite tyskuyomi (mobile sorry), and the only ones left awake (naruto, sasuke and Madara) have the most epic brutal fight of all time, but... They all die getting rid of the god tree, bijuus, sasuke naruto). Then everybody is saved and woken up... But now because of the war everybody now understands one another.

The sages idea of just trusting just one person would be completely diminished and in it's place would come the idea of everyone thinking and understanding each other... Nobody would know what happened between Madara sasuke and naruto in the right that happened but they would understand that in order to beat the evil (Madara), naruto and sasuke had to work together.
