So, December, 21 2012 is almost due and I was just wondering if anyone noticed anything weird the last couple of months? And what do you think will happen at that date?
Nothing weird has been happening:
Japan has always had earthquakes;
miners have always got stuck underground;
children have always committed suicide due bullying;
famous people have always died of disease;
Hurricanes have always hit America;
Natural disasters have always happened;
Stupid people having their own reality TV shows is the newest of the bunch,
The reason why it seems so many things are happening in this day of age is because of the internet and how the world is so connected now, go back 20 years and I bet you could make as many world stories as you could now.
I personally only noticed that the time seems to fly by.. Its just a weird sensation that I can't really comprehend.
Also, I noticed I somehow am able to see aura's everywhere. Trees, humans, animals, materials, walls, whatever.
Stop taking them drugs kid.
The only thing I'm sure off that will happen on due date is that the magnetic field of earth will collapse and send us into a void for 3 days. The north pole used to lie where Hawaii lies now, so I'm curious if we will notice anything about it.

It takes thousands of years for a polar shift to occur there is no way in hell the core can just suddenly speed its rotation. But ok, hypothetically lets say if the magnetic field did disappear there is nothing really to worry about for a few years because the ozone layer and the atmosphere will still be here, you will just have to wear more sun screen that's all.
Also technically speaking, winter solstice in the Mayan calender has already happened because it does not include leap years.
It is not the first time BS scare stories have come about, I will list a few below:
1. Y2K, the year 2000 was meant to bring forth a age of darkness because the programming in computers would not be able to function changing from the year 1999 to 2000 and would cause a global error and shut down nuclear power plants computers, etc.
2. The war on Iraq was supposed to start world war 3.
3. 6/6/06 some Christians believed that this would be the end of days and the 4 horseman of apocalypse would ride across the sky, yadda, yadda, yadda.
4. 2009 swine flew was meant to be like the black plague, never happened.
5. 2012/2011 (can't remember which year) some Christians believed it was going to be the rapture.
I guess the most likely one that may happen is the asteroid that may hit in 2016, but then again I doubt it. As the others have said it will be man who kills itself before any natural disaster gets the chance.
