I don't think Kishi can end it after the war now. If that was his plan, he shouldn't have had Sasuke announce he wanted to become Hokage. That alone should lead Naruto to be around for quite a while longer. The fans will most likely be extremely pissed if we don't get to see what happens between Sasuke and Naruto, especially considering their goal is now the same.
