The eight gates

I was wondering about how many gates can Kakashi open, an why we have not seen him open 1 single gate in a battle. We know he can open 1, and the 1st gate does no harm to you. The 1st gate lets you use 100% of your muscles, which would have been nice against Kakazu's "rock hard" body. Guy can open 8, and I know why we have not seen him open the 8th. He doesn't wana die yet I guess. Lee can open 5 or more at the moment. Just want your input!

I'm sure that Kakashi is capable of opening at least 4. He doesn't condition his body enough to reach gates any higher than 4.
Of course Guy doesn't want to die yet.

Sharingan already puts strain on his body, no need to increase it with opening the gates specially it isn't his style.

I also wonder how much the gates affect ninjutsu. We really have not seen a ninjutu specialist using the gates during battle.

He can open 4/5 Gates he has opened 1 gate

gates with mangekiyo sharingan. but yeah, i think he can only open the first gate at least.

I would like to see a gates ninjutsu user as well.

But to the question. We only know for sure kakashi can open 1 gate. He can likely open up to 3 without serious damage. It is very likely, that he is capable, of opening all 8. However, he cannot, and does not use them, because he doesnt condition his body to be capable of takeing the crazy strain. I mean Guy has arguably the second or third toughest body in naruto verse(other than oro, and 3rd raikage) and look how badly the 7th gate affects Guy.

So simply i think the stronger body, the longer you can use gates. Kakashi doesnt have a strong body, so he may be able to use all gates, but for a much much shorter time(to the point of almost being useless to know)

It wouldn't affect his skin, but it would mess his insides up. What is Asakagiu
