It's only killed people who have lived or stayed for extended periods in African countries.

Healthy people living in the first world aren't as badly afflicted - An American flown back to the U.S. quickly showed improvements. Once again though, media hype blows it out of proportion.

That wouldn't be possible.

We live in a time where we have just enough technology and knowledge to be able to apply ourselves to problems, and find solutions; they didn't have that in the 1300s. Yeah, afflicted individuals are going to be ill for a while but treatment has already narrowed the full recovery time from being months to weeks despite the short focus time on the virus itself.

Two more Americans are on the road for full recovery too after being in Africa plus the first most notable case. Poor conditions bolster Ebola, but to anyone living in the First/Second World, that's not a problem.

The media just know masses will hang on their every word if they use scaremongering tactics.
