I remember my eleven year old self watching this in the movies with my older brother, seeing this scene and, for the first time pausing in a movie I was supposed to take seriously and realizing, "This....is really, really stupid."

F*ck that movie. Seriously.

But that's just out of resentment. If you want an actual horrible plot twist, there's a dozen Shyamalan movies out there...especially that really dumb alien one with the water.

Plot twist?
Nothing beats The Mist final minutes where they all agree to commit suicide and then the dad turns to shoot himself then realizes there's no more bullets so he steps out the car to let the creatures eat him however seconds later he's saved by the military.
Worst twist and ending ever.. amazing movie though
