Black and Blue since I first gazed eyes upon it.

The person who was selling it confirmed that it is Royal Blue and Black. But the way certain people perceive colours makes them see white and gold all because of the lighting. The close lighting gives a false sense of over-saturation of the colours, and when bright light is too close to those colours, you get a white and gold like look, which is what some people see. There's been some comparisons when putting it straight up to the light and it does look white and gold. But it is Blue and black without question.

This is called colour constancy. This might not work at first if you are use to seeing what you see, so keep trying until the colour begins to change. I originally saw white and gold, now i can alternate with focus.

Don't know if I'm stupid or not but it doesn't really work. Still black and blue for me too, although the first time when I looked at it I saw white and gold as well.

You are not stuPid. The only reason i asked that was because he was saying he still saw black and blue on BOTH. One picture is for seeing white and gold if you see black and blue and vice versa. The fact that he was attempting both is going to make it more difficult to change his perception.

What the bleeping bleep? Its white and gold.... how could one's eyes make such a huge misconception?

I can't believe that my eyes would make such a huge and consistently wrong assumption. It would only make sense if the flash was affecting it. A flash can seriously mess with the look of an image, that is the only way I'd believe it looks so odd to some. Could the bright background alone be the culprit? Very hard to believe.
