Shawn: this is freelancer calling snakemaster, what’s your status
Snakemaster: positive, all parameters secured
Shawn: tell me, Mr. Shing, who is after your life?
Mr. Shing: I was afraid if you knew, you’d turn down the job.
Mr. Shing stands up and walks up to his drawer, brings out a book.
Mr. Shing: this book was given to me by my father; it tells tales of a guy who killed off his superiors. He is the black eagle…well that’s what they called him… anyway, no one has seen his face till now. He wears a long jacket with a long collar and a hood attached to it, more like a dark priest, his face is covered up to his nose leaving only his eyes, he has a sword strapped to his back…How’s your status now?
Shawn: freelancer calling snakemaster, how’s your status
He checks his camera and discovers his men are dead.
Shawn: come in snakemaster! What’s your status?
Snakemaster: (in a faint voice) they’re all dead, he’s a monster.
Shawn: what!~ shivers~
Mr. Shing: he is coming…they say he removes his mask before he kills you. Removing his mask seals your faith.
Shawn: but that guy’s supposed to be dead 400 years ago
Shawn hears a footstep, he shoots out of fear.
Mr. Shing: well who else could get passed your security…..you can’t kill him like that, its no use.
Assassin: dragon fire technique
Shawn jumps to the side as the assassin blows up the door, and Mr. Shing falls unconscious on the ground
Shawn: Was he telling the truth?
Shawn: (he shoots at the assassin): die you...!
The assassin disappears
Shawn: he disappeared!
Assassin: behind you
Shawn: huh?
Shawn: you can’t dodge from here can you!
He tries to shoot the assassin again, but
Assassin:two fingers of death
the assassin hits him on his nerve swiftly with two of his finger
Shawn :( in a faint voice) you are the…
He dies… but Mr. Shing points the gun directly at his head
Mr. Shing: dodge this~ shoots the assassin~
Mr. Shing: too bad it ended this way. I expected more (he turns back)
Mr. Shing: what!
The assassin stands before him
Mr. Shing: I killed you just now
Assassin: you saw exactly what I wanted you to see…by the way Shawn is badly hurt here, the fire damaged his right arm (takes off his hood)
Mr. Shing: please don’t kill me!
The assassin draws out his sword and sliced his throat in a flash
Assassin: too late for you…one more, then the real problem begins. (turns to shawn)You have to promise me not to protect dubious men again, then I’ll take you to a hospital
Shawn: I promise
He disappears with Shawn’s body just before the police arrive
Policeman: Sir we have a situation.
ACP: It’s him again right?
Policeman: Yes, and still we have nothing on him, he is like a ghost
ACP: cleanup this mess, the commissioner of police is coming.
Policeman: yes sir

Yulaw: sir
Commissioner: what are we going to do about this?
Yulaw: according to my sources, his next target is Mr. Chan in New York; he seems to be killing all the corrupt businessmen in this country. In a way he is helping us, however we can’t let him have his way.
Commissioner: contact the US police in New York, tell them about the situation, you’ll leave for New York 2300 hrs. You’re dismissed.
Later that night…
Servant: Mr. Shinji, you’re enjoying this aren’t you, making them believe that you're still alive ?
Mr. Shinji: Yes! It spreads the legend.
Servant: right sir, I almost forgot, you have a message form kazuya, he said you should rendezvous with him at new york .
Shinji: Next is New York, I’ll leave tomorrow, lock up and leave if I don’t return in two weeks. Go to the safe house.

Shinji: hello Mr. Yulaw, my honest policeman what brings you to New York?
Yulaw: same as you, business Mr. Shinji
Shinji: (whispers) Ohh, you are looking for that assassin I guess

He leaves his house through a hidden path. Meanwhile…
Shinji: It’s time
He jumps from a building next to Mr. Chan’s house to the top of the building,
But also Yulaw and Sarah are in a car parked next to the building

He entered the building from the top; he walks to Mr. Chan’s living room…
Man: please don’t kill me
Shinji: A decoy huh, thought as much
All the police hiding jumps out of their hiding place
Policemen: freeze
Shinji: (looking out the window) hmm fresh air
Policeman: you’re surrounded, give up
Shinji: Takada’s whirl wind spin Technique
Police: what!
A great wind spins around him like a tornado and pushes them to the wall knocking them unconscious.
Yulaw: that’s it, I’m going in. (he runs into the house)
Sarah: wait!
Shinji: useless…
As he walks towards the window he hears sirens
Policeman1: You are surrounded, come out with your hands on your head.
Policeman2: this is your last chance
He jumps out of the building with his hands up
Shinji: now take it easy guys
He swiftly draws out his sword from his sheath strapped to his back. As he does that the policemen shoots at him but…
Yulaw: (from 5th floor): Get back all of you!!!
Policeman2: what the hell (Thinks-how come none of the bullets touched him)
He blocked all the bullets with his sword
Policeman3: you’re some freak aren’t you? (Shoots at him again)
But he dodged it slightly
Shinji: bye guys.
Drawing a gun from his side he shoots the burnet of a police car till it exploded. He runs back in to the building only to find Yulaw waiting for him.
Yulaw: I know you; I’ve studied your style
Shinji: Yulaw, we meet again.
Yulaw: I’m going to catch you this time. (draws out his sword) fight me Takada
Shinji: okay, I’ll humor you. Don’t worry I’ll fight with honor and with my second sword, it’s normal, except that it is super light, but super strong hehehe.
He holds the middle of his sheath strapped to his left side with his left hand, bends the sheath towards his left and the handle of the sword, he holds with his left
Yulaw: (thinks) that stance, it is similar to mine, but why does he hold the middle of his sheath? This is a technique that is used by members of my clan where the effectiveness is determined by the speed with which the sword is drawn. I’ll have to find out myself
Yulaw: prepare to die!
As he runs towards shinji, he draws out his sword but so does shinji, their swords collide but…
Yulaw: what?
The speed used by Shinji was so great that his sword broke Yulaw’s sword leaving an opening. Shinji takes advantage of the open, and using the open end of his sheath; he hits Yulaw by his right floating rib and kicks him swiftly.]
Yulaw: (he coughs out blood as he falls to the ground) argh a double batojutsu!!
Shinji: Yes, you seem to be familiar with it. That’s all, I have a proposal for you though, help me in my quest and you’d know exactly why I’m doing this. See you when I see you.
He jumps out breaking through the roof and disappears into the darkness. A few minutes after the FBI shows
Agent: FBI, this is our jurisdiction, you have no permission.
Yulaw: My sincere apologies, were just rounding up
Sarah: Yulaw! We were given orders not to go in and you…
Yulaw: He would have taken them easily, it seems you don’t know who you’re dealing with, and I’ve been chasing him for 5 years now.
Sarah: you think we don’t know him?
FBI agent: In any case, it’s in our hands now.
Yulaw: whatever, but he is my problem also, so I’ll be included in your investigation.
Thursday, 0400 hrs
Somewhere in Hong Kong
Maid: Lord Sejiro, here is your tea
Sejiro: That’ll be all….so my boy Takada has come out to play, I think I should entertain him a little…call Mr. Tony for me.
Mr. Tony charges in with a sword to attack Sejiro, but Sejiro does nothing until Tony is close to him, then he draws his sword and blocks the attack.
Mr. Tony: It’s a little bit too early to disturb me Lord Sejiro, what can I do for you?
Sejiro: you’re lucky, I held back otherwise you’ll be burnt now. I want you to kill Takada; I’ll pay you any amount
Tony: alright, but make no mistake, if you don’t make the payment, I will come after you too.
Tony leaves…
Sejiro: he is trying my patients…let’s see if you can even wound him
AT THE STATION
Yulaw: I could have had him
Steve: so you mean you couldn’t take him down! By the way what happened to your side?
Yulaw: we fought.
Steve: alright, go clean yourself up.
Suddenly soldiers and Special Forces enter the station, some carrying equipments.
Steve: hey guys! On whose authority do you come in here, you have no right.
Soldier: the general’s
The general walks in, he looks like a man in his late 50s
General: who is in charge of the assassin case?
Yulaw: I sir
General: not anymore, this is now a matter of national security, the NSA will handle it, I need all the Intel you’ve got on this case now.
Yulaw: yes sir.
General: get to work guys; I want to know every thing about this guy, who he is, where he sleeps, who he works for. I want to know who this guy is so get to work; I’ll need flight records from the time he killed Mr. Chan till now! Yes we knew. His life is about to get frustrated.
Takada: (on the phone) I’ll be going to Texas to ask kazuya for his help,i can't wait for him, it seems there’s more people involved in this, if you’re there then leave immediately(drops phone).
Takada: What have you been up to kazuya? Well find out soon enough.

CHAPTER ONE (Vengeance)Legend of the Black Eagle

During the early 16th century, there was a mythical kingdom in the Middle East; the rulers of the kingdom were five immortals that ruled from the sky, they were known as the dragon family. Four of them controlled one region of the empire and the other was the supreme emperor commanding the four regions for he was the head family of the dragons.
Each emperor possessed great powers in one of the five elements: East region represented earth, West region was ruled by god of the earth, north was ruled by god of the water and south was ruled by lord of the god. It was a time of war, and it seemed all hope was lost, as they were dwindling in numbers as their abilities couldn't save their kingdom, the supreme emperor who was the lord of fire known as the red dragon sought the help of a priestess. He was told that a young boy would come at the right time to help them win the war.
Five years passed and the prophecy had been forgotten, he found a young boy, a mortal about 16 years old held captive by their enemies. Maybe it was fate, or coincidence, but the emperor picked up this boy and adopted him his son.
It was later discovered by the supreme lord that the young boy had the potential to use Qi magic, those who could use it are very rear, the could master the art of combat to a supernatural level, at that time, only the supreme lord could use Qi magic, seen that, he was convinced that the he was the boy of prophesy, and thought him everything he knew.
It was time for war once more and the boy just finished training, so he was sent to war as the general of the fleet, but before then, a ritual was performed in which the five leaders shared their powers with him making him stronger(not actually stronger, it is just so that he would have the dragon energy in place of his own) than even his master, this happen because his blood was compatible with all their rituals however the council still did not trust him, so they put a curse(the curse of the spirits) on him if he should go against any of them he shall die a painful death. He went and after 4 years he came back victorious and was given the title the lion of the four regions and the protector of the celestial gods, as a sign of trust, the five leaders decided to remove the curse placed on him.
But that night he killed four out of the five leaders (his master inclusive) living only the lord of thunder and lightening Lord Sejiro alive.
He left and never returned, his name went down in history as the protector that killed his masters. To this day no one knows where he went or why he did that.
